"Beach, Boys, and Beer"
I woke up the next morning at 8:30 and jumped out of the bed. I walked over to my suitcase and pulled out my white halter bikini, a white t-shirt and a pair of black shorts. I pulled them on and walked into the bathroom to brush out my hair and pull it back into a bun.
When I walked back into the bedroom Amber and Sid were just getting up. I walked over to my bag and pulled out my beach towel and put it into my purse along with my sunglasses, sunscreen, and book. I slipped on a pair of my new flip flops and looked over at Amber.
“Where are you going,” she asked.
“Aidan will be here in a minute and we’re going to go down to the beach.”
“Uh huh,” she said with a smug smile.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It sounds like a date.”
“It’s not a date,” I said completely exasperated.
“If you say so.”
Before I could say anything else I heard a knock on the door. I walked over the door and pulled it open to look out at Aidan. He was wearing his green and black plaid swim shorts, a black t-shirt, and a pair of flip flops. He really looked great. I smiled at him and opened the door wider.
He walked in and smiled at Amber and Sid. They both smiled over at him and went back to doing whatever they were doing. I grabbed my purse and walked out the door with him right behind me. We walked out of the building in silence.
We made our way to the beach and picked out a spot. There weren’t many people on the beach yet. We laid down our towels and I dropped down onto mine. I looked up to see him standing over me.
“What,” I asked.
“Why are you laying down,” he asked.
“So that I can tan.”
“You’re tan enough. Let’s go swim.”
“What’s with you and making me swim?”
“It’s good exercise so let’s go.”
With a sigh I pushed up and pulled off my shorts and t-shirt. When I was done I looked up at him. He was staring at me again.
“What’s wrong,” I asked him.
“Nothing,” he said as he shook his head. Then he pulled off his t-shirt and I thought I might faint. It was not fair to have a body like that. He looked over at me and he almost caught me looking at his naked chest. I looked away just in time.
Before I could start staring again I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the water. He let me drag him to the water but once we got there he pulled his hand from mine and walked deeper into the water. I followed after him.
After we were in the water I moved away from him and relaxed. I swam on my back and closed my eyes. Every now and then I would open my eyes to make sure I didn’t go out to far. After a minute I felt warm hands touch my stomach seconds before I was under the water. I came up sputtering and looked over to see Aidan swimming away laughing.
