                                          "The New Boy"

Before I knew it, it was already Friday. I hadn’t seen much of Aidan but I had been spending every day all day with Amber and Sid. We had  so much fun. We partied every night at the beach and spent most of the day tanning or swimming. It was a pretty great vacation.

I had pretty much forgotten about that first night. I didn’t see Christian for the rest of the time so I guess he was still pretty scared. Today we were getting ready to go down to the beach because everyone was playing volleyball. I hated playing most sports but I loved to play volleyball.

I dressed in my black and green bikini with my white shorts pulled over my bottoms. I slipped on my flip flops and pulled my hair back into a ponytail. I was ready to kick some ass at volleyball.

We walked out to the beach to see that the games had already started. We decided to wait for it to end and just join in on the next one. There was music playing really loud from somewhere and Amber started dancing. I sat down and started looking around. Almost all of the guys were going around with no shirt on. And trust me, I was not complaining.

A lot of the girls were dressed like me. They had on bikini tops and shorts. The team to my right was getting creamed. I felt bad for them. I turned my attention to the game beside them and saw that Mr. Harris was playing. He had his shirt off and he had worked up a sweat. All I could think was yummy. Someone plopped down beside me and when I looked over I saw that it was Aidan.

“I think your starting to drool,” he said.

“I am not,” I said defensivly.

            “Yeah you are.”

“Well I can’t help it that he happens to be hot.”

“You think Mr. Harris is hot?”

            “Every girl here does.”

“That’s sad,” he said as he shook his head.

“What are you doing here anyway,” I asked trying to change the subject.

            “Watching the games.”

            “You’re not gonna play?”

“I might. Are you going to play?”

            “Absolutely. I love volleyball.”

“Maybe we’ll be on the same team.”

            “Maybe,” I said quietly.

“What have you been up to,” he asked.

“Nothing. Just hanging out with Sid and Amber during the day and going to parties at night.”

            “Nobody’s messed with you?”

“Nah. Everything has been fine. What have you been up to?”

“Just hanging out in my room. I haven’t really been doing anything.”

            “Why not?”

            “Not interested.”

“Oh,” was the last thing I said.
