"I thought you were gonna wait  for me!" Josh yelled as soon as he spotted me sitting at the table staring at my laptop.

Yeah, I promised to wait for him once my last class was over, but waiting for him would also mean waiting for Matt and Dan and I had enough of them for one day.

"I have an essay to write." I lied.

"You could've asked Dan, he's got a shit load of them from previous students." Josh said sitting across me.

"Yeah... right." I clicked my tongue trying not to sound sarcastic.

I typed on my keyboard pretending to be busy here and there throwing a glance at Josh who just stared at me in silence.

"What?" I asked not taking my gaze off of my laptop.

Honestly, as much as I loved spending time with him I was just hoping he would leave. I wasn't in the mood for him right now. Especially since I spent the day with Jordan who insisted on me picking sides or telling Josh the truth bout his friends.

"Nothing." Josh just smiled still staring at me.

I hesitantly ripped my gaze away from him and fixed it back on my laptop as I continued to type random shit about nature.

It annoyed me tho - that Josh just kept staring at me with that huge creepy grin.

"What?" I snapped, slamming my laptop shut then looking up at my annoying best friend.

"Nothing." Josh smiled even wider. "You're cute."

"Then take a picture and admire my cuteness without creeping me out." I said.

Josh laughed. "I'm taking you to the movies in like an hour." He said throwing a glance at the clock.

"Um... No." I looked at him narrowing my eyebrows. "The essay." I reminded him.

Although the essay thing was fake I had homework to do.

I mean, I could do it in an hour if I started now, but I was too lazy to get to work now.

"Come on!" Josh whined and I rolled my eyes. Did I mention my best friend was a huge brat? "I have nothing to do!"

"Then call someone."

"But I wanna hang out with you..." He continued his wining.

"Jesus, Josh. You're such a brat." I jumped off my chair and crossed my arms.

"That's because I hang out with you." He smiled at me sweetly. "So, you wanna see an action film or a horror?"

"Why me?" It was my time to whine.

"Because I love you the most, now shut up and answer my question!" He shot at me and this actually brought out a smile onto my face.

"You know I have to talk to answer."

"Shut it smart ass!" Josh cut me off sounding annoyed and I smiled to myself proud of how I manage to turn this situation around. "It's horror then."

"I hate horror!" I protested.

"That's great, you're gonna get all touchy with me then." Josh gave me a cheeky grin.

He was such a fucking flirt.

"We..." I pointed my finger to him then me. "...are not dating."

"Mmhmm..." Josh muttered smiling at the ground and before I could say anything else we heard the door bell ring.

"Who is it?" Josh yelled not even remotely caring that we were standing in the kitchen - a living room and a corridor away from the front door.

I rolled my eyes hurrying towards the door.
