You know it's a Christmas morning when you've been woken up by Christmas carols and you look outside the window meeting s ton of snow covering literally everything.
Well, snow probably wasn't necessary in all cases, but this was London - it was pretty necessary.
I turned around in my bed meeting Josh's sleeping face. His eyes were closed and his thick eyelashes were throwing small shadows on his cheekbones. His mouth was slightly open and he still had his arms around me as his chest slowly moved up and down in the rhythm of his breathing.
He seemed so relaxed and it immediately put a smile on my face.
Josh and I haven't really discussed out situation or 'what we were' now, but I think we didn't really have to anyways. Our relationship was pretty much the same, only there was kissing involved now. A lot of kissing.
And of course there was so many new emotions I haven't felt before, but I liked it. Even though we cuddled a dozen times before, now it was so much more intimate, everything we did seemed so much more intimate.
I thought it was gonna be awkward at first, or that I may be a bit scared, but it really wasn't like that. Josh was my best friend before anything else and that didn't seem to disappear - it just appeared with so many new things that made our connection even stronger.
It was weird to think about it like that. Especially since we've became a 'thing' - if I dared to say it - just like two days ago. Perhaps Josh and I were a 'thing' long before either of us thought about it in that way.
As I moved his hair out of his eyes he opened his eyes meeting my brown ones. You could tell he was still pretty dizzy from his sleep, but he smiled at me right away.
"Merry Christmas." I smiled at him and he let go of me so he could rub his eyes.
Fuck, he was so adorable.
"Already?" Josh yawned. "I feel like I've slept two hours."
"That's 'cause you did." Chuckled.
"Right." He clicked his tongue. "We probably shouldn't have stayed up all night making out, but still - no regrets!"
"Shhh!" I smacked his shoulder lightly laughing.
"What?" He laughed. "Every room in this house is soundproof anyways."
"Yeah, but the door is open." I said.
"Whoops!" Josh laughed not even remotely caring as he rolled over in my bed lying on top of me.
"Didn't you just hear... what I said?" I said stuttering a bit as my heart skipped a beat because of our new position.
"Does it look like I care?" He asked me before closing the gap between us.
I didn't seem to care either when his lips touched mine. I kissed back immediately. You'd think I'd get used to it considering we've literally made out for hours last night - but no. I felt the same rush of sensation and euphoria just like every other time his lips would lay down on mine.
As sudden as he kissed me he moved away though leaving me whining.
"Come on..." I complained turning to my side as Josh got up from my bed.
"We have the whole day, Oli." He winked at me then exited my room heading to his own.
I quickly got off my bed too as I ran after him. "Not really, since this is a family..." But I haven't even crossed the hallway when I bumped into Tom.
He looked at me up and down like seeing me running off towards Josh in just my tee and boxers was a disgrace. "What are you two doing?" He asked strictly. "Was Josh sleeping in your room?"
