Sustain knocking woke me up. It took me a moment to get rid of the dizziness of my sleep and get a hold of what's happening.
"Oli?" It was Josh's voice. "Oli? Oli? Are you in there?" He was calling out.
Oh, right. I was in Josh's room.
I let out a soft groan hoping he'll hear it as there was no way in hell I was gonna leave his bed.
"No, it doesn't work that way." Josh told me obviously hearing me. "You have to unlock the door."
I let out another groan and shifted in his bed as I struggled to open my eyes. It wasn't as dark as last night anymore. It was probably because Josh didn't have pitch black curtains.
"Oli, come on, I know my bed is the best, but we have a house to clean." He said.
I let my eyelids fall shut as I shifted in his bed again pulling the covers over my head. My thoughts went back to Hannah and I just wanted to fall back asleep.
"Oli!" Josh continued his knocking as he realized I wasn't coming. "Oli! Jeez, open the door!"
"You know he has the key to your room too?" I heard Tom say.
"What?"
"Yeah, it's in his night stand. You gave it to him the very first day we moved down here." Tom explained to him.
Then there was silence.
My still half asleep brain hoped that this meant I'll get a chance to fall into unawareness again, but not even a minute later I heard the lock turn and before I knew it someone's weight was on the bed next to me.
"Oli?" I could feel Josh radiate with playfulness.
He towered over me while I was still holding the blanket over my head.
"Oliii..." I could practically hear his smile.
"Leave me alone." I growled from under the covers.
"No, it's time to get up." My annoying best friend told me then proceeded to rip the covers off my face.
"Five more minutes!" I yelled, but the light already flashed over my face and I was now awake. Well, not totally, but enough to not be able to fall back asleep.
"I hate you." I said covering my eyes with my hands.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah... whatever." Josh didn't even acknowledge my sentence. "So Abigail came to the party yesterday..."
"And why are you so happy about that?" I asked my voice still raspy from the sleep.
"Because she got so drunk that she passed out and Matt took her to the hospital and now her parents know that she was drinking and doing drugs and she got a police record too."
Josh was so stoked it actually made me feel better. At least the night wasn't going shit for both of us.
"She deserves a lot worse, but I can appreciate this for now." I smiled.
"And you? I promised you I won't drink and then I haven't seen you the whole night." Josh said.
"Nothing..." I looked away.
Josh raised an eyebrow. "Nothing? I can see on your face that something happened."
I sighed.
Josh was my best friend, if I'm not gonna tell him, then who the fuck I'm gonna tell? And I knew for a fact that keeping it in is not gonna be a solution.
"Um... Hannah... She kissed me." I said feeling my cheeks slightly burn. "And she... uh... Kinda, maybe, technically wanted to get into my pants."
