Chapter 29

A/N: I keep lacking with my updates bc my stupid friends keep making me go out with them. If you wanna hear about my disaster dates and master lies I tell my parents go check out my rant book bc I'll talk about it there soon. Anyways, new chapter which is also the second last. Only one more chapter left after this and there will be a sequel. It's gonna called 'True Friends' and I'll tell y'all the details in my rant book.

I woke up with a splitting headache and I immediately pulled out painkillers out of the drawer next to my bed and swallowed two.

Even though I slept for like 15 hours considering it was morning now and I fell asleep yesterday afternoon, I was still beyond exhausted and I didn't have the nerves to deal with a headache right now.

As my mind flew through all the events that happened in the last 24 hours I suddenly felt a burning urge to talk to Josh.

But I couldn't, I reminded myself now just wanting to disappear from the house.

I got up from my bed and walked out of my room as quiet as I could. It was no use though. The only thing that could help me right now was if I were to be invisible.

When I closed the door behind me and slowly turned around Josh fell into my view. He was standing in front of me leaning onto the door of his bedroom obviously waiting for me.

''We need to talk.'' He said.

His voice was calm, completely lacking any emotions and while his face was blank seeming almost relaxed I could clearly see how tense his muscles actually was.

I just stared at him, my breath caught in my lungs and my heartbeat slowly speeding up. I mean, I did owe him an explanation, I guess, but then again, there was really nothing to explain. I saw what he did with my own eyes and although it was a video he couldn't deny it.

I didn't even know if I was emotionally ready to enter that topic again. At this point I was so stressed about this that I was calm. Almost numb to the whole thing.

''Um... I...'' I started but thankfully I didn't get to finish.

''Good, you're both here.'' Elissa said making both Josh and I look to the side meeting her curvy figure. ''I think we all need to talk.''

''Can this hurry tho?'' I asked wanting to get out of the house as soon as possible. ''I have to get to Matt Nick's place in like 15 minutes.''

Elissa and Josh shared a glare and as my ex frowned his sister looked at him sympathetically. ''I can really see that you fucked up hardcore.'' She told him like I wasn't there.

''Yeah, thanks for pointing that out sis.'' Josh muttered bitterly as I eyed them suspiciously.

''What are you talking about?'' I asked.

''We know.'' Tom suddenly walked out of his room still putting on his shirt. ''About you two. We know.''

I looked at my brother a bit confused. Was he talking about what I thought he was talking about?

''About you two being together.'' Elissa confirmed it. ''We know.''

''You mean how we were together?'' I corrected her. ''It wasn't that serious though really.'' I could practically feel Josh flinch besides me but I couldn't help it.

''Didn't seem like it when you came in yesterday hysterically begging your mom to drive you off to Sheffield.'' Elissa pointed out making me flinch.
