Lillie Dent isn't a popular girl nor is she a loner she is a girl who keeps to herself, when her friends persuade her to go to a summer festival her life changes in an instant when she meets Simon.
When I got home I was in tears not just because of the photo I was passed that I was crying because if Simon and I didn't know why, but if he wasn't going to do anything about it then I would so I got out my phone and went on Twitter to address the problem what has been happening. Lillie @lillie_ I understand that you are all a fan of @miniminter but you don't know me, that photo was taken and we didn't even realise I'm not even a friend of Simons we just met at the festival, so I'm asking politely for you all to leave this situation alone and please don't come showing up at my work because that's crossing a line. I have been scared of what is going to happen about this and now I have told someone that I can't be friends with them because of this and it broke my heart so please stop all of this and if anyone knows who was the first person to post the picture can you tell me please because I want this to be forgotten so I can move on with my life. Thank you.
When I tweeted that out I was getting loads of messages from fans saying some nasty things, one said that 'you should be lucky that you met Simon most of us would die for that opportunity and now you're throwing it away, you didn't deserve to meet him!' They were right I didn't deserve to meet him he was lovely and kind and funny and now I came even be friends with him because I'm scared of what is going to happen if I do or even if we were to become something more than friends I would be petrified. It was late at night and my phone was still blowing up with notifications but I ignored them, I turned off my phone and left it downstairs and I just got changed into my pyjamas so I could sleep in peace

Morning
I woke up early again so I could go into work, I got changed into my clothes and took my phone along with an apple for my walk to work

I left the house and put up my hood because I was worried and scared of being recognised by Simons fans but I managed to get to work okay without being spotted, "Lillie how are feeling?" Allison asked "Better now thanks, do you want me to work another shift to make up for yesterday?" I asked "No don't worry about it, it's not your fault you were ill and anyway after you went home we weren't even that busy." She smiled at me "Okay." I smiled back as I hung up my bag in the back room and put on my apron over the top of my hoodie, pulling down the hood so I looked presentable. "Lillie could you go across the road and get some more eggs we've just run out." "Yeah sure." I smiled as I took the money from Allison and walked over for road to a little shop that did our food stock, I paid for the eggs and walked back over to see Allison writing something down on a piece of paper and putting it to the side near the till so it was out of the way. "Good, just put them in the fridge please." I put them in the fridge and then sat behind the till, "Lillie someone came in here for you but I said that they had just missed you." "Who was it?" I asked "I wrote down on a bit of paper, ah her it is." She handed me the paper and read the name, it was Simon how did he know where I worked and why did he show up here after I told him not to contact me again. "Allison if he comes in here again send him away please." "Even if you're here?" She asked "Especially if I'm here." "Okay sure." She agreed and smiled at me.

I was on my break when the girls showed up to see, they bought some lunch and came and sat with me at one of the booths. "Did you find out who it was?" Alex asked "No, but I did speak to Simon and I told him not to contact me again I didn't ask for any of this and I don't want it. I also put out a tweet as well about it." I showed the girls what I said and they agreed especially about people showing up at my work. "So you stopped seeing Simon." Kara said as she looked behind me out onto the street "Yeah why?" I asked even though she already knew why, she pointed behind me and when I turned around I saw Simon standing outside staring at me.
I went outside to see him and ask him why he was here after I told him he couldn't be near me. "What are doing here? And how did you find out where I worked?" I asked "I saw your tweet Lillie." He said quietly "Yeah okay well that doesn't mean that you can come and turn up at my work." I snapped "Did you find out who it was?" He asked "No, but I'm not going to stop until I do because quite frankly at the moment I seem to be the one who gives a shit about this because you are not doing anything about it. Simon you aren't the one who is getting hate for this they don't hate you, they hate me and I can't take it." I sighed "Look I'm so sorry about all of this Lillie but there isn't much I can do." "Yeah maybe not but I can try." "So what are going to do?" "Find out who this is and try and forget." I went to walk away from Simon and go back to work when he stopped me by grabbing my hand and spinning me around so I was now facing him, when he turned me around he still had hold of my hand he didn't let go and I didn't stop him. "After all of this can we be friends?" He asked "Why are so obsessed with being my friend I don't get it in nothing special, all I am is a waitress in a cafe and you're a successful YouTuber and you could have anyone you want. And you want me why? I asked
"I don't know you're right he could probably have any girl who is Youtuber or even someone else just as successful but I don't want that I want you because you're special Lillie when I met you at the festival I knew that I wanted to get to know you and find out more about the fun girl who let me stay in her tent, when you lied next to me I felt like I could get to know you even more and I don't mean to be rude but I don't think they Corey deserves you." "And what you do? Why do you get to decide that isn't that up to me who I go out with?" I snapped "Y-yeah but." He started his sentence before I cut him off "Look just go Simon and don't come back or even find me again I mean it just go." I snapped, he took a few steps forward and tried to hug me but I pushed him away violently and then went back inside of the cafe, the girls didn't say anything because they saw how I felt they just let me get back to work.
