Lillie Dent isn't a popular girl nor is she a loner she is a girl who keeps to herself, when her friends persuade her to go to a summer festival her life changes in an instant when she meets Simon.
All the girls were coming over later because today was the day where we were going to go back to the festival where I met all six of my best friends, Alex couldn't come because she was staying with her parents for a while and I was told that she had some family business to take care of so I just let her get on with it. What confused me though was if it was family business then why wasn't Corey going back home as well instead of coming to a festival with us? When I got up and out of bed properly I walked downstairs into my kitchen and got a drink of water and a bit of toast, just as I was going to sit down my phone started to ring so I picked it up and heard Tobi on the phone. "You better not be cancelling later on?" I asked him before he could even say a word "No no no we're all still coming it's just Simon." "Simon, w-who's that?" I asked him "You know Simon he tall with dirt blonde hair very close with JJ." "Not ringing any bells." I replied "He gave you that cross necklace that you're wearing right now." I looked down to my neck and saw the necklace that Tobi was just talking about "How did you know that I was wearing it?" I asked him really scared "Because you never used to take it off." "What do you mean 'used to?'" "Don't worry look, he's moody because he doesn't know if he wants to come to the festival." Tobi sighed heavily "Well tell him he has to come because he's the life of the party it won't be the same without him.. I won't be the same without him" I mumbled the last part "What did you say?" Tobi asked in shock "I don't know why I said that. Anyway tell him he needs to come otherwise he'll have me to deal with when I'm back" I said pretending to be mad at Tobi but he just laughed and said goodbye to me.

Georgie, Poppy and Kara all turned up with the boys they were already dressed for the festival apart from me and Poppy so we went into my room to get changed into the clothes that we were going to wear.

When I got changed I put my hair into two little buns and got Poppy to put some glitter in my hair and on my face, we then walked down to stairs and the guys were ready and waiting for us both so Poppy walked over to Tobi and held his hand. There were a lot more of us this time because Georgie was bringing Charlie and Josh was bringing Freya plus both Cal's were coming and so was Sarah but it was going to be fun with lots of us there, we got into a Über to take us to the festival grounds. I sat with Corey but I couldn't help but notice that the boy with dirt blonde hair looked distracted and depressed so I tapped him on his knee to see what was wrong with him as weirdly I felt that I had to care about him for some reason. "You okay?" I asked him "What's it to you?" He snapped quickly and quietly "I-I just wanted to know that's all because you looked distracted sorry I didn't mean to make you angry." I said he then sighed and pushed his hand through his hair in frustration "Sorry I didn't mean to snap it's just I don't really want to go to this festival that's all." He said more calmly "Why's that?" I asked him "Because I met the girl that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with at this festival and I let her slip through my fingers and I regret it so much." "Oh I'm sorry, she clearly meant a lot to you, but you never know she might still feel the same way about you." I winked to him which made him laugh a little. "I doubt it she doesn't even remember who I am." He mumbled, I just sat in silence "do you even know my name?" He asked me quickly "Um Simon right?" I asked "Yeah that's it, I'm surprised that you remembered since you can't remember anything else about me or us." "What do you mean 'us'?" I asked him "Well we-" "We're here!" JJ shouted at us all, Simon then closed his mouth and rolled his eyes and looked out of the window I didn't want to pester him so I just left him alone, I took hold of Corey's hand and we got out a tent and walked up to the top gates with everyone else so we could get our wristbands for the festival.
We then set up our tents, Corey and I decided that we would share one together so we set up our tent and put all of our things into our tent and laid out our sleeping bags and placed our bags down and waited for the others to come into the tent because we were all going to hang out for a bit before the actual music started because that didn't start until later on in the evening. "Do you remember what happened the first time we came here Lillie?" Corey asked me "Yeah just before you and Brittany broke up and both of us kissed but then we argued." I said back to him "I'd like that to happen again." He smirked at me "What the argument?" I asked him "No *slight laugh* the kiss." "Oh right I-I'm not sure Corey I mean it feels wrong." I said to him "Well you take your time we'll work it out." He smiled as he took hold of my hand, just then all the guys walked into the tent with smiles on their faces unlike Simon who like before, was moody and seemed distant but I just left him to it because I didn't want this day to be ruined I wanted to have a good time with all my friends and possibly potential boyfriend If things go well between the both of us today.
