Twenty two

I pulled away quickly and moved towards the wall near my bedroom door,
"No I can't do this not with you!"
"I know I'm sorry it was a mistake it shouldn't have happened."
"Why are you apologising I'm the one who kissed you, you're Simons best friend I can't do this we've only just broken up and I still love him." I sighed heavily in frustration
"I get it I do but when Simon was with Alex do you think he loved you then?"
"Why are you bringing that up? That has nothing to do with this!"
"Because you thought he loved you while you loved him whereas I do love you and always have and I have never stopped." Cal stared at me and slowly walked closer to me taking hold of my hand and held it in his all I did was stare at our hands.
"No you love me because of my career, I bet if I was still the barista girl at my old job you wouldn't have given me a second look or even ask my name." I pointed out to him
"Yeah at first it was because of your job but I've gotten to know you Lillie and I like spending time with you and my feelings I have towards you are for your personality and looks so I do love you."
"I-I can't do this so soon Cal, you're are Simons friend I can't just go through all of his friends as I please."
"Why not? Alex was one of your friends she was one of your best friends and that never stopped Simon from cheating on you with her did it?"
"No but this is so early, Cal you're are my best friend and that is it I'm sorry." I let go of his hand. "I think it's best if you leave, I'll call you though." Cal said nothing he just let go of my hand and kissed my cheek on the way out of my room, the front door closed behind him and I was so confused.

I loved Cal he was my best friend but I did still love Simon I couldn't turn my feelings off for him like a tap, but I ruined any chance of friendship with him when I said that he was dead to me. I walked into my spare room to see Harry still sleeping and seeing as it was still late at night I just left him to sleep there in the spare of the moment I decided to ring Simon he deserved to know about what happened even though we aren't together anymore.
'Simon c-can I talk to you please?'
'Sure what's wrong?'
'Can you come round?'
'Yeah I'll be there in ten minutes.' Simon ended the call, I opened my balcony doors and sat on one of the chairs in the corner that was facing out onto the dark city that gleamed with the lights, I watched as a red rover pulled up and I saw Simon get out of the car and heard his footsteps walk up the stairs and the bedroom door open.
Simon walked through the doors and sat down in the other chair on the balcony.
"I might as well just say it, um Cal and I kissed." I said quietly I watched Simon get angry
"I'll kill him!" He shouted
"Be quiet Harry is sleeping."
"Harry? What's he doing here?"
"I came home and saw Harry standing on the edge of my balcony getting ready to jump all because of you and Alex, he really loved her Simon he adored her and you took her away from him he would die for her and he nearly did all because of your reckless behaviour."
"I want to see him."
"No he's sleeping and I don't want him to see you." I snapped at him
"Why did you want to tell me about you and Cal?" He asked
"Because I thought you would want to know but I told Cal that he was my friend and nothing more because stupidly I still have feelings for you and they won't go away."

"Y-you still love me?" He stuttered
"Yeah and it fucking hurts because I was going to ask you to come on my tour that is happening but when you and Alex did what you both did that idea went away so now Cal is coming with me it's a world tour for about six months."
"So you're spending six months in a squished tour bus with a guy who kissed you. Are you insane?!"
"Maybe but I don't care." I stood up and walked to the glass and looked out over to the city when I felt two hands wrap around my waist and a head rest on my shoulders,
"Are you and Alex a thing?" I asked him
"No I didn't want to be with her because I want you and only you."
"Yeah but clearly you didn't want me when you with Alex behind my back."
"No I didn't but that doesn't meant that I didn't love you because I did I still do I love you to pieces Lillie." He sighed heavily. I felt his hot breath on my neck and it made me twitch, I turned around and faced Simon his hands were still around my waist I fell into his chest and hugged him just leaning my head on his chest as he pulled me in wrapping his arms around me cuddling me tight and he kissed my head lightly
"We'll sort this Lillie I promise."
"Maybe." I said as I closed my eyes and just enjoyed being with him and how much I had missed doing this with him.
