Thirty one

Simon POV

When Lillie left I felt awful, I didn't want to go out to be dating Alex but I was going to be a dad so I needed to be there for her and support her and the baby, it was getting late none of the boys were talking to me because of what had just happened, Cal was trying to call Lillie but he wasn't getting an answer from her it kept going to voicemail and he was getting so worried about her we all were. I left Alex in my room and went down into the living room to go and see the boys, when I walked in it was like they were ready to throw a knife at me the tension was unbearable
"I can't get hold of her, what the fuck have you done?!" Cal shouted at me
"This isn't my fault." I said back
"You're fucking joking right? That girl loves the absolute bones of you and when you said that you were coming to see her that was all she would talk about and I was getting sick of it, but you couldn't keep it in your trousers and decided to get her ex-best friend pregnant what the fuck is wrong with you!" Cal snapped at me
"I'm sorry Cal." I said quietly
"Is that all you can say mate you're going to be a dad and with fucking Alex who if you have forgotten was also Harry's ex who also loved the bones of her. You are unbelievable Simon."
I then heard footsteps coming down the stairs and Alex walked in, Cal couldn't even look at her
"I don't want her here Simon when Lillie come back." Cal spat at me
"If she comes back" Alex said just loud enough for Cal an I to hear
"You treated my best friend like shit! You two are perfect for each other I just hope that when Lillie comes back she'll hate you Simon because you don't deserve her at all." Cal snapped and I didn't know what to say to him "Look I'll go out and look for her she's probably just gone to cry or something." I said to Cal
"Can you blame her? You broke her heart Simon! Just go I don't want to even talk or look at you anymore." Cal said, I could tell that he was serious so I grabbed my keys, put on my shoes am grabbed a jacket and left the house to go and find Lillie.

I drove everywhere that I could think she would be but I couldn't find her, I even drove to her parents house as I thought she would be there but she wasn't and it was getting late and I was getting worried, when I checked the time it was midnight and as I was coming back from finding Lillie the road was blocked off work police barriers and tape, there was about five police cars and an ambulance all around this broken barrier near the ditch about ten minutes away from the Sidemen house, I parked up the car an got out of my car and walked up to the barrier to ask what had happened.
"What's happened?" I asked a police man
"There was an accident, a black Range Rover went flying through the barrier and crashed into the ditch over there." The man explained, they bought up the person who was in the crash and I saw the neck of the person I saw my necklace and I knew that was Lillie,
"Lillie!" I shouted I pushed passed all of the police and ran over to her, all I saw was a bruised and bleeding body that didn't even look like her.
"Sir you need to go back!" I was instructed
"But that's my friend, please let me go on the ambulance with her." I begged, the man nodded to his colleague and let me get into the ambulance.

Lille was strapped up to machine with tubes coming out of her from all over her body that was helping breathe and actually keeping her alive, I got out my phone and called Cal to tell him.
"Cal I've found her, I'm with her." I sniffled
"Well bring her home then." He snapped at me
"Cal we're in an ambulance, um *sniffle* the police said that her car went flying through the barrier and you know the ditch about ten minutes away from the house?" I asked him
"Yeah what about it?" He asked
"She crashes there, Cal she's hooked up to machines we're on the way to the hospital because she barely alive she's not responding to anything."
"No you're lying!" He said
"I wish I was." I said slowly
"This is all your fault!" He shouted down the phone at me, I just ended the call and held onto Lillie's hand telling her to respond to me but nothing was happening.

(*Time Skip*)

When we arrived at the hospital she was pushed quickly along a stretcher to an intensive care unit and I wasn't allowed to go and see her, I had to wait outside of the room for her. While I was waiting Cal and all of the boys arrived Cal came charging over to me with so much anger in his eyes I had never seen him like this before. Ever.
"You fucking twat!" He shouted at me "I want to go and see her." He said
"You can't she's in intensive care she's not responding to anything." I said with tears falling down my face but that didn't stop Cal from running into the room I chased after him and when he saw her he broke down and it killed me to see her like that.
"What have you done." He said quietly to her, I then pulled him out of the room and suddenly Cal broke down into tears in front of me he turned his face into my chest and just cried his eyes out and all I wanted to do was take that all away from him because he was right all of this was my fault and if Lillie dies I will never forgive myself I would be responsible for her death and that's something I will have to live with for the rest of my life knowing that I killed the girl who loved me for and not for what I did as a living and I have betrayed her.
