Lillie Dent isn't a popular girl nor is she a loner she is a girl who keeps to herself, when her friends persuade her to go to a summer festival her life changes in an instant when she meets Simon.
I decided that I would set this story in 2014 as I have jus got some new ideas for what I could do for more chapters. 2014.
Three years ago. "You have got to come tonight!" Georgie smiled at me "I'm tired!" I whined back to her "Come on, I'm going so is Alex, Kara, Poppy and Corey." "Corey is going?" I asked, she got my attention when she said his name, Corey has been my crush since primary school. "Yeah he is, and I'm pretty sure that he isn't bringing Brittany." "How come?" I asked "Alex told me that they had another argument last night and he didn't want her to come with him." "Oh really, well I suppose rest is over rated." I smirked "Yes!" Georgie smiled as she grabbed my hands and started to dance around my room with me. "You may be in for a chance Lillie, with Corey." She smiled "I don't know, they always have little arguments like this and they are back together with in the next day." "Yeah but there is a rumour going around that she kissed Jack Read and obviously Corey found out and went mental at both of them." "Yeah but that may not be true Georgie, it's just a rumour." "Yeah but admit it you want it to be true." Georgie smiled at me and I blushed back, she laughed and I threw a pillow at her. "Stop it, come on we need to find some clothes to wear for tonight." I smiled at her.
I texted the other girls telling them to come to my house and bring all of their summery/ festival clothes with them. After a few minutes of sending the text they all arrived with bags full of clothes so we could make an outfit for tonight, "Georgie did you tell her about Corey and Brittany?" Alex asked "Yeah I did." She said while looking through the bags "Well is it true about what she did?" Poppy asked "Yeah Corey told me just as our mum was taking me here." Alex smiled at me "Don't you think it's weird that Lillie likes your brother?" Kara asked "Not really, she likes him and I'm pretty sure he likes her so it doesn't bother me." Alex replied, when we all finished sorting out our outfit for tonight it was time to leave, I wore

"So who's driving?" Poppy asked "I could get mum to take us there and back if we want, we can all have some drinks then and actually enjoy ourselves." "Well we're camping there that's why there is a big tent in the hall." Alex said "Ah right well, lets go then!" I cheered, mum agreed to take us there so she put the tent in the back and we left "Is Corey meeting us there?" Kara asked "Yeah he said he'd wait for us at the gates if he gets there before us." Alex replied.

When we got there Kara and Georgie got the tent out of the back of the car, I said bye to mum and we then all walked to the top of the gates to meet Corey when we saw him he smiled at Alex who walked over to him taking the tent from Kara to give to him to carry. I walked behind Alex with the other three girls when we caught up to Alex Corey and I locked eyes and smiled at me. "You look nice Lillie." He complimented me which made me blush slightly as I felt my cheeks burn up "Thanks." I smiled at him, as I walked forward Corey took hold of my hand and intertwined our fingers together I looked down and smiled I then looked behind and the girls were all smiling brightly at me and pulling stupid faces which made me laugh we handed in our tickets we were then all given neck tags to wear so we could get in and out of the festival if we needed to.
"Right come on we need to find somewhere to set up our tent." Poppy said to us all "How about here, we are close to stage and quite close to the toilet." Georgie said "Yeah here is great, Corey set up the tent while we all go and get drinks for later." Alex smiled "Sure okay." He said a little bit annoyed at Alex, all of them then grabbed hold of my hand and pulled me away to go and get some drinks. "Lillie he held your hand!" Kara squealed "I know, but what about Brittany I don't want to cause shit between them." I said cautiously "Look, if Corey didn't think that it was over then he wouldn't have held your hand Lillie, I wouldn't worry about it so just forget about it and focus on having fun with Corey." Alex insisted, we then all made our way back to the tent with a cooler full of drinks for later on tonight. Corey had set up the tent for us all we just needed to decide who was sleeping where. "Okay Georgie and Kara you can share a room, me and Poppy will share and oh looks like Corey and Lillie will be sharing you don't mind do you?" She smirked as she pointed to each of the rooms "No I don't mind." Corey said with a smile. I put out all of my things and set out my bed ready for when we all come back from the stage, when we all finished doing that it was time for the first performance so we all rushed to get to the front of the stage, I took hold of Corey's hand, looking back and smiling at him as I pushed my way through the people with me friends pulling Corey along with me. We got the best place to stand, it was right in the centre of the stage.
