1 year later

Lillie POV

Black was all that I could see, it was all so dark and cold I was surrounded by nothing and no one that was until I opened my eyes, I fluttered them open gently to be blinded by the bright hospital light I knew exactly where I was but I can't remember what happened.
"Cal?" I asked as soon as I said his name he came running over to my bed side and grabbed hold of my hand
"She's awake!" He shouted out of the door and then suddenly eleven people came rushing into my room to see me
"Lillie you're awake thank god you're okay." Cal said happily, I didn't reply I just looked around the room and I was confused.
"Lillie do you remember everyone here?" Cal asked me
"Yeah course I do, JJ, Georgia, Kara, Poppy, Harry, Tobi, Vik, Ethan, Josh and Corey." I then looked at the end of the row of people and saw a tall man when dirt blonde hair and a ring on his hand.
"Sorry but who are you? And how did you get my ring?" I asked him
"Lillie don't be stupid I'm Simon, you can't forget me."
"Sorry I don't know you, are you my brother?" I asked him I was really confused as to who exactly he was
"JJ get him out before he gets upset." Cal said quickly to the teary eyes man
"Was I meant remember him?" I asked
"That doesn't matter now all that matters is that you're awake." Harry smiled at me.

"H-how long was I in a comer for?" I asked everyone
"One year and a month, do you remember the accident Lillie?" JJ asked
"I remember running out of a big house  and getting into my car but that's it that is all I can remember after that it's just black and fuzzy." I replied to him
"What's happened in that time?"
"Do we tell her about you know what?" Kara whispered to Cal I was just confused as I didn't know what was going on at all.
"Lillie do you remember Alex?" Georgia asked me with a slight smile but I could  tell that she was being really serious
"Yeah course I do, she's my best friend you all are." I smiled at them
"So you're not mad at her then?" Tobi asked
"No, why should I be?" I asked him
"Yea-" Ethan was about to say but then JJ punched him in the stomach
"No it's all fine now, Poppy can you get the doctor and tell her that Lillie is awake." Cal said to Poppy, she smiled and nodded as she walked out of the room,
"Don't ruin it for her Ethan, she's happy and there's no more drama with Alex and Lillie so let her just be happy and let her believe that her and Alex are still friends because it will be easier for everyone that way." I heard Cal whisper to Ethan but I didn't say anything
"But what about Simon? This isn't fair on him the girl he loves doesn't remember her." Ethan said seriously
"You know I can hear you right? Cal can you get Simon in here please?"
"A-are you sure?" He asked in surprise, I nodded my head as he stood up and walked out of the room to go and get Simon.

He walked in with red puffy eyes and a teared stained face and I don't know why but it made me feel funny it gave me butterflies but not the good kind.
"Can you give us a minute?" I asked, Cal smiled and nodded as he and the rest of them walked out of the room closing the door behind them letting me and Simon be alone together.
"Do you really not remember me?" He asked
"No I'm sorry, clearly I have upset you about this and I am so sorry."
"You have nothing to apologise for this wasn't your fault." He mumbled lightly
"What do you mean?" I asked him
"Don't worry, look you'll want this back." Simon took my ring off of his hand and passed it over to me, I took it from him and put it back on my hand,
"Who's necklace is this?" I asked as I picked up the chain with a cross on it on my neck
"That's mine." He sniffled softly
"Oh here you can have it back." I went to take it off but he stopped me
"Keep it, it's yours now." He smiled
"You're really upset about this aren't you?" I asked nicely, he nodded in response as it looked like he was about to cry again. "I'm so sorry, I feel so bad now that I don't remember you."
"Lillie why are you crying?" He asked, I felt my cheek and there were hot wet tears falling down my face
"I don't know." I said quietly, just then the doctor came in so Simon had to leave.
