Twenty

It was really late I checked my phone and saw that it was three thirty I spent most of Christmas under the stairs because I couldn't face seeing Simon or Alex, everyone had left the house I could hear Poppy talking to Tobi wondering where I was JJ told that I had probably just gone home I heard everyone leave I just waited for Alex's voice to say goodbye then I knew that could come out. I came out of the cupboard and walked into the kitchen to get a drink when I got in there I stood by the sink and breathed in and out deeply to try and calm myself down that was until I heard footsteps coming into the kitchen when I turned around I saw Simon in his shorts with no shirt on and flat hair he had obviously been asleep and just woke up to get a drink.
"Lillie what are you still doing here everyone thought you had gone home." He walked over to me but I ran round one side of the breakfast table to get away from him
"Don't come near me Simon." I said seriously
"You know I still love you right?"
"Love?! You don't even know what that means, I really loved you Simon and I still do but now I know that you were cheating on me with Alex behind my back makes me hate you."
"It meant nothing I promise you."
"Lies! It meant so much considering you were with her for eight months. God I'm such an idiot thinking that you would want me." I broke down into tears, Simon came walking over to me and pulled me into his cold bare chest.

"It's going to be okay." He said as he kissed my head I had missed this so much but I knew that it was wrong I just didn't want to believe it was real
"No I can't do this." I pushed him away and moved my hair out of my face
"Why not? I know you still love me and want to be with me so why can't we be together because I love you too."
"Yeah maybe I do still love you but I don't trust you, how do I know that you won't cheat on me again?" I asked him
"Because I love you."
"Oh what and you didn't love me the last time is that it?" I snapped
"Course I did I-"
"Just loved Alex more, I get it I do Simon just tell me do you still love Alex?"
"What? Course not!"
"Please I just want the truth." I said with tears prickling on the edge of my eyes, he didn't say a word he just looked into my eyes and I looked into his, Simons eyes were gorgeous you could get lost in them they could suck you in, but if that happened then I knew that I would forgive him for what he did and I really wanted to do that but he was with my best friend behind my back and I can't forgive him for that.
"Okay, I get it you still love her that's fine just please tell Harry before this gets out of hand." I went to walk away but Simon took hold of my hand and pulled me back over to him
"I don't love Alex I love you!" He said as tears ran down his face, I wiped the tears away with my hand and he leaned his head into my hand closing his eyes
"You know if you tell a lie one hundred times it becomes the truth and you start to believe it." I said as I dropped my hand from his face and walked out of the kitchen and out of the house walking back to Poppy and Tobi's flat as tears ran quickly down my face.

Boxing Day

When I woke up I saw my pillow was stained with tears from last night, I cried myself to sleep it wouldn't surprise me if I work up Tobi and Poppy by mistake when I looked to the side of me I got my phone and saw that I had a few texts from Simon and Cal. I didn't bother replying to Simon I just couldn't bare it so I called Cal instead I knew that I could trust him not to tell anyone if I told him about Simon and Alex,
"Lillie what's up?" He asked
"Well you know Simon cheated on me?"
"Yeah what about it?" He asked
"It was with Alex."
"As in your best friend Alex and the one who is going out with Harry?"
"Yeah her, I didn't know who else to tell I feel so stupid for not seeing all the looks they were giving each other." I sighed
"No you're not stupid you are far from that, look I'm coming home today I decided that I wanted to come home early so do you want me to come round and see you?" He asked
"Yeah sure, I need to go back to my flat anyway so just text me what time you are coming over."
"Okay bye."
"Bye." I ended the call on Cal suddenly my bedroom door burst open and Poppy stormed in.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked
"Were you listening?"
"I was just coming to see you and I heard what you said to Cal, Lillie I'm so sorry I came believe she did that to you and Harry." Poppy sat on the bed with me and hugged me tightly
"Well I only found out last night, they were texting each other and giving each other funny looks so I followed them into the back garden and caught them kissing." I said sadly

"Right we'll freeze her out then, I'll tell the girls and I'll get Tobi and the boys to do the same to Simon I'm not letting them get away with this it's not fair. After all you have done for him nearly giving up your job so you could be transferred here and then for him to do this? It's fucking horrible!"
"Cheers Poppy, anyway I'm going to get changed Cal is coming over to my flat later so I need to put all my clothes back at my flat but I'll see you and Tobi soon."
"Okay we'll make sure that Harry finds out he needs to know." Poppy said all I did was smile slightly then she left the room leaving me to pack all of my things to take back to the flat.
