Thirty Six

We had all had a few drinks and were laughing we then decided that we would go down to the stage and watch the artists perform. Corey took hold of my hand and walked with me down to the front of the barriers where we all danced and sung a long to all of the songs that were being played, while Corey and I were dancing I saw a girl with long lilac hair walk over to Simon and start dancing and flirting with him and instantly I got a stab of jealousy in my stomach I don't know what came over me but I pushed past JJ and Harry and walked straight up to the two of them, I spun the lilac haired girl around to face me and her facial expression was disgust where as mine was anger and jealousy.
"What do you think you're doing?" She snapped at loudly me over the music
"Why are you dancing with my boyfriend?!" I shouted back at her
"Lillie what did you say?" Simon asked me in so much shock
"I-I don't know?" I said quietly
"You said boyfriend." Sarah stated
"I did didn't I? Oh god I'm so stupid what am I saying? *little laugh* sorry carry on I don't know what came over me." I then smiled and turned away from the pair and walked over to Corey who was dancing with Tobi, Poppy, Georgie and Charlie.

Simon POV

After Lillie walked away I rushed over to Cal(freezy) who had seen the whole thing that had happened and was just as shocked and confused as I was.
"Cal what just happened?" I asked him
"I don't know Simon it was like she-"
"Remembered me just for a split second she remembered who I was too her." I beamed a smile at Cal "maybe there is hope for us both, you were right Cal she still has those feelings I've just got to get a way for her to show them." I smiled, Cal smiled back and very quickly we were back to jumping and dancing to the music that was being played and performed to us all.
A little time had passed and most of us were still at the stage apart from Cal and Lillie who had walked back to the tent so we just let them leave. While I was talking to Josh and Freya the girl with the lilac hair walked over to me again and started to smile and rub my arm softly which made me feel a little uncomfortable.
"Hey I'm Freya are you one of Simon's new friends?" Freya asked her
"I guess so, I'm Zara." She smiled
"Well I'm Josh seeing as we are all introducing each other." He stated which made Freya and I laugh a little
"So what was up with the brunette early?" Zara asked us all
"Oh she has memory loss and can only remember certain things." I said cautiously as it didn't feel right talking about Lillie
"And what? She thought that you two were a couple?" Zara asked another question
"Well we used to date but that was over a year ago now and I haven't found anyone since." I said quietly
"Well maybe that could change tonight." Zara smirked to me which got a disgust eye roll from Freya
"I doubt it." I mumbled
"I love this song!" Zara shouted, quickly she took hold of my hand and pushed through some people so we could dance together but I was a bit apprehensive about the whole thing.

(*Time Skip*)

It was extremely late and I was quite drunk so we all walked back to our tents and as I was about to get into the one that I was sharing with JJ and Harry I looked to my left to see Lillie sitting in the middle of the field playing with a strand of grass in her hands, I walked over to her and sat down beside her as she studied the piece of grass.
"What are you doing out here on your own Lils?" I slurred to her
"Just thinking that's all, why are you here?" She asked me as she put down the piece of grass and lied down on her back looking up at the dark starry night sky,
"Thinking." I replied, I then copied her and lied down next to her
"I'm sorry I said what I said earlier Simon, I shouldn't have said that you were my boyfriend when you weren't I hope I didn't cause any problems with you and your girlfriend." She apologised so sweetly and innocently.

"You don't need to apologise, and anyway she isn't even my girlfriend."
"Oh god did I break you both up I'm so sorry Simon." She said sadly
"No no no Lillie it's fine she wasn't even my girlfriend we only met today don't worry about it." I laughed a little
"Oh good, I'd feel so bad if I had broken you both up, I hate it when people get angry and upset with me ever since I came back from my world tour and found my ex boyfriend cheating I just hate being upset or upsetting someone else because I must have done something bad if he had to do that. There must've been something wrong with me at the time if he did that, am I really that bad?" She asked me, instantly I felt guilt towards Lillie I didn't know she had felt this way, what she had told me was probably all she could think about when she was in that coma.
"Lillie Violet Dent there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, you are perfect in every single way you are gorgeous, funny, sarcastic and so many more amazing things and any person would be lucky to have you as a friend or lover and that man who let you slip away from him was an idiot who had made a stupid and unforgivable mistake, but in that time that you spent together he obviously loved you so much, maybe a little too much and took all the love that you had towards him for granted but I know that you are a stronger and obviously a happier person without him." I said as tears formed in both of our eyes.
"Thanks Simon." She sniffled

We both leaned in towards each other and was so close to kissing that was until Lillie pulled back in realisation,
"No I can't do this, I have Corey and you're so drunk and so am I, and if I'm being honest you're not my type anyway sorry Simon." Lillie then stood up and walked into her tent with Corey and immediately I was hurt it felt like I was now completely sober and my world just crumbled down in front of me before my eyes all that was spinning through my head was 'You're not my type' over and over in my mind and it hurt and killed me so much I hated it not only does she not remember me but now I'm not her type so she will never love me again, but that isn't going to stop me from getting her to fall in love with me even if it kills me.
