Chapter 6

I was freezing. Damn these people! I was fifteen now which meant that I had been in the lab for five years now. At least I think so. These past five years had been hell. They kept trying to break me. I wouldn't let it happen. I had killed three of their workers here. Almost everyone ignored me besides Damien and Rose. Even Frankie didn't talk to me anymore.

Each day was slower than before. My little testing's were getting more and more difficult. They had almost killed me twice. Not that I really gave a shit. I would actually welcome it. This is why I had killed those three workers, in hope that I would die. I was actually brought into a deeper isolation. They had covered my head, so all I saw was black, unless I was getting tested on. Rose didn't care about me anymore. She didn't in the first place, but she was the closest thing I had. I just sat around thinking. Mainly about why I was brought here. I didn't remember a thing, but did I want to? No, not really. Damien was constantly reminding me that I was a monster. He even started to call me Mutant. Which is what most of the people were calling me now. On top of that he never told me anything. I was clueless.

"Hey Mutant, it's time for your daily wash." I heard a voice say. They removed my restraints. You'd think I would fight them. I really didn't care. It was pointless. They started to spray me with a high pressure hose, with freezing cold water.

"Mutant." Damien's voice said. I had heard him talk long about mainly himself and how he was doing this for the safety of mankind. Not much of a hero. "Anyways, finish washing up. You are meeting another mutant." he said disgusted. "Oh and by the way Frankie is escorting you. And if you hurt anybody, I will make it my personal mission to torture you."

"Fine." I growled under my breathe. I wanted to die, but I had a feeling I would rather live than be tortured by him.

"Time is money Mutant, hurry up!"

"Like I give a shit." I muttered.

"I heard that. Hey spray her down with the coldest water we have." Damien said smirking evilly as he left the room.

A jet of freezing water hit me. I shivered. A worker started to approach me cautiously. I moved my head up quickly and glared at him to scare him. He jumped back and dropped the shampoo bottle her was carrying. I giggled. Scaring these workers was one of the only ways I had a little fun.

The man picked up the bottle and handed it to me. I washed my hair. When I gave the bottle back, they sprayed me with the freezing water again.

"She's done." a voice said over the speaker. The men left the room and Frankie came in.

"Frankie!" I said happily. Frankie used to like me to some extent but, ever since I went and killed those people she never came around. I hugged her, but she didn't return it. "Why don't you like me anymore?" I asked her.

"You killed innocent people Circe. That's why. How can you not fucking understand?" Frankie said angrily.

"Well..." I didn't know what to say so I shut my mouth. Frankie passed me some jeans and a t-shirt. They looked old. I didn't care though.

"Follow me." Frankie said stoically. I followed her down the winding halls. I had never really explored the lab, more like I was never allowed. Everything seemed overly clean and sterile, even the floors were spotless. We approached a door.

"Don't hurt anybody, or I will make it my personal mission to torture you." Damien's voice rang in my head. I looked at Frankie. She was looking at some notes of hers. I did miss Frankie though, and I noticed every new detail about her. She had dyed her hair black, and she wore blue contacts. I had always thought she was pretty.
