I opened my eyes to the sun shining on Circe and I. She was laying in my arms asleep. Last night was amazing, even though I had to explain to Circe what to do since she had been in confinement and no one told her what sex was.

I laughed to myself, forgetting she would leave me today. I only gripped her closer to me, and she stirred. Her bright blue eyes opened and she smiled her brilliant smile.

"Morning." I whispered.

Her smile changed into a frown, "I have to leave."

"No, you can stay." I tried to bring her closer to me, she pulled away and grabbed her clothes. I looked away as she put them on.

"I am leaving. Its pains me to say so, it really does." I heard her shuffle behind me. "Here's your clothes." I took them and put them on quickly. I looked around to see her by the water holding a gun.

"Aren't you going to say good-bye?" I asked. "At least take this!" I handed her the pocket watch she left with the note.

"Jason, last night..." Circe paused and looked at the watch in her hand, "Wasn't supposed to happen. I made an unbreakable connection to you, which is why I must leave. This is something humans cannot understand."

I grabbed her wrist, "I know, but we are meant for each other."

I saw a tear drop from her chin, "This wasn't supposed to happen. We mean nothing together. It is messed up and complicated, you couldn't understand. Humans stay with humans, its always been that way." Circe's voice cracked.

"You are human Circe. You have a heart, a soul, a conscience. You just have super human powers." I was shocked by what she said. We aren't meant to be? I shook the thought away.

"I have quite the messed up conscience. I am a Mutant. Damien has told me all these years. I am different. I have been through torture and I have been almost killed. I have felt unbelievable pain. Yet leaving hurts worse." Circe was crying. I gave her a hug from the back, I let her cry for a few minutes.

"Circe I am sorry for everything that has happened to you. I really am. I can't fix it, but maybe-"

"So we finally found you." I heard a voice. Circe pushed me behind her.

"Jason run." Circe whispered to me.

"I can't Circe." I would be here for her.

"You are stubborn." A smile played across her lips.

"Jason get over here! She is crazy." I heard someone yell. It was Swan.

"Jason stay quiet." Circe whispered to me, "Its for the best." I was speechless, I froze when she ran towards the squad with around twenty men shooting at her.

"Kill her!" I heard Major Swan yell.

"Die!" Circe laughed. About five men fell to the ground headless. I was still shocked when I saw her kill. Why didn't she stop. Who was this? She was crazy. I saw Circe turn to me blood on her face. "See? This is who I am." A crazed look appeared in her eyes. It scared me beyond belief.

In a blink of an eye most of the men were down, dead and decapitated. Only Major Swan remained, "Jason! You could have saved us from her!"

I felt someone grab me from behind, a knife went to my throat. I tried to look back to see who it was, a soldier. "What is this?" I yelled. Circe turned to me her face fell, it was the normal one looking at me now.

"Now Circe." Major Swan laughed, "Come with us. If you kill anyone else we kill him."

"That's playing dirty Major." Circe growled, I could tell she could kill him any second.

"Now I will kill you." Swan laughed, he pointed a gun at her. "Drop the weapons." Circe dropped her guns into the sand. Why didn't she fight?

"Jason." I heard her say, "Sorry it had to be this way."

"What?" I asked.

"Major?" Circe asked, still looking at the sand.

"What is it freak?"

I don't understand, why didn't she fight? Was it because I would die to? She does have a heart.

"Do not shoot." Circe bent down and grabbed the pistol. She put it to her head and closed her eyes.

"Good bye."
