"Damn!" I slapped my hands down on the table. "It's been two weeks and we only have had four people murdered and we can't track her down?"
"Well Damien, Circe has always been quite... clever." Marcus answered. I had been Skyping Marcus and much to my disappointment they hadn't found Circe.
"Is she dead?" I asked.
"No, everyday Hina is out looking for her, and her presence comes and goes. Needless to say Hina is getting frustrated and my men are getting impatient." Marcus sighed.
"How the hell are we going to find her? You said you could get the job done in a week and it's been two weeks!" I snapped at him.
He put his palm on his face and dragged it down, obviously stressed.
"Find her Marcus. For all we know she could be hunting you and not the other way around." I was fully serious at this point.
"Alright. And one question."
"About?" I raised my brow.
"Hina." I nodded for him to continue. "Well what should we do when Hina is finished with Circe?"
"Being her to me, say I want to reward her. Then when she comes I will kill her."
"Are we going to stop the program then?"
"I already told the government that this is to dangerous. Unless we can somehow kill their highest influence when she comes."
"Who?" Marcus asked me.
I smirked. "Classified." I ended the video chat before he could continue. I was sick of this nonsense. Can't even find a blue haired freak. I got up out of my chair. We had gotten a new Chiwa and I personally wanted to meet her. Maybe she can be a bit of assistance.
I walked out into the hall and passed a few busy people heading to the testing center. I grabbed one's arm and pulled him towards me.
"Yes Damien?" the man asked, I looked at his name tag it read, 'Jak.'
"Jak, where can I find the new one? And what's her name?"
"You can find her down the B hall to the left, take the elevator and she is in the highest containment center, she's... interesting. And her name," he shuffled through a couple of his papers. "Her name is Joy."
"What an unfitting name. I commented, I followed his directions to the containment center.
I quickly put in the passcode to the door. It opened slowly. There were a ton of guards and I went through. I greeted Helena who was observing her at the moment.
"Where is she?" I asked her. I looked in the room and no one was there.
"Just wait." she told me. I watched the room with nothing moving just white. Then I saw a flicker of blue in the center of the room.
"How did she do that?" I asked her.
"She actually can use her arms to conceal her, although it does take a lot of energy out of her. Currently we are trying to get her to extend the time she is able to keep the shield up. So far she has reached three minutes."
"What's our goal?" I was looking at the figure who was slowly materializing in thin air.
"Thirty minutes." Helena responded, writing something on her sheet.
"Where is she from?" I asked.
"She washed up on our beach. Unconscious of course." Helena said sitting down.
"May I speak to her?" I asked, Helena nodded the okay. I pressed a button and spoke into the mic. "Joy?"
"Who is this?" Joy asked sounding terrified.
"Damien. Do you know Chiwa? Do you know Circe?"
"Damien? Sounds like demon." Joy giggled.
"Answer my question!" I yelled into the mic. She shrunk back a little bit.
"N-n-no I never heard of them." she stuttered.
"How did you get here?" I asked her.
"I don't know!" Joy wailed.
"Joy I don't like liars." I said, making it sound like a threat.
"I am not lying!" she screamed.
I took my finger of the mic button and watched the light fade. "Test her skills."
"Damien!" Joy yelled, sounding confused.
"Get ready for the test." I told her slightly bored, as I pressed the button
"What test?"
"Go." I told Helena. She pressed a button which fired a gun a her.
Joy screamed. It had hit her hip, she was on the ground, breathing heavily.
"I knew it." she whispered. "You will pay Damien." The windows broke revealing our room.
"Guards!" I yelled for them too fire.
Shots fired at Joy, they seemed to go right through her.
"What the hell. Helena!" I called for her, a giant shard of glass stuck into her heart.
"Demon? Where are you Demon?" Joys voice surrounded me.
I felt like I was falling, falling into darkness.
I awoke to the sound of waves. I opened my eyes and looked around, it was a beach except I could see planets in the sky and stars, and galaxys.
"Like it here Demon?" Joys voice sounded behind me.
I turned around and was face to face with Chiwa. I screamed. "I thought so." Chiwa giggled.
"Where is Joy?" I managed to ask.
Chiwa's eyebrow raised, "I am Joy, her body was an illusion. Everything about her was an illusion. "
"So it was you?" Chiwa nodded in response. "Your going to kill me now?" I continued.
"Not now Damien dear, I actually came to tell you your world as we know it is going down. Cities will be aflame, people will die. However I will be alive, and I will watch you die."
"Your lying. You are dead Chiwa." I said, my voice was clearly shaking.
"We shall see. Now I think you better get prepared Demon." Chiwa said. Her face close to mine.
"I have Hina!" I told her, hoping to gain some leverage.
"I have Circe, Demon. Now leave."
I felt sand sucking me under. I awoke to the sound of machines around me. "What happened?" I asked a nurse that was sitting by me.
"Well, Damien, Helena died, and Joy was shot, she died." the nurse told me.
Joy died? Wasn't she Chiwa? I had no time to think. I stood up.
"Damien you should really stay here." the nurse tried. I shook my head. I ran out of the room to go to Sparta.
