I got off the plane and breathed in. In a way I felt free. I knew I had a mission to kill Circe though. The guards all surrounded me. I felt something itch in the back of my mind. Circe was around here. I looked in between the guards towards the woods.
"Hina is something wrong?" One of the guards asked me.
I pointed towards the woods, "There." I frowned.
"What is it?" the man who I guessed was the leader asked me.
"Name?" I asked him.
"Marcus."
"Ok Marcus, let me through." I shoved two men out of my way. A couple of the guards, including Marcus followed me. I cautiously walked towards the woods, although I am sure with all the noise they were making anyone could hear us. I gave them a glare. I had already seen two types of guards, the ones who were scared of me, and the ones who hated me, which is why I didn't tell them to quiet their loud feet.
I paused at the gate. The itch leave me, it was gone. The woods were now empty. "It's nothing." I finally said.
"Let's take her to her confinements." Marcus said. I was once again lead to a room in which I was alone. The room was plain white, with a tan ceiling, and a cold tile floor. The bed was also so uncomfortable. I was laying on my back staring at the ceiling. The room was so quiet.
I closed my eyes. I hated Circe, she hurt me so bad. I knew that wasn't a big part of my motivation though. She was living my freedom, with no guards constantly guarding her. I knew I had chosen to live and kill others but I did it out of fear. Nothing more, I was six at the time.
What a mistake. I was going to be True Queen. Although I hardly knew what it entailed. I sat up again, the springs in my mattress squeaking as I lifted myself up. I don't want to die. Or do I? I shook my head again. I can't let my weakness get to me. The silence made me over think and I got over emotional.
I had to steel myself against the world. Me vs. the world. That's how it is. They hurt me. I kill them. Including any of the Chiwa. One day, one day I will rule, and I will kill them all. So much...pain...especially Damien... I may just not give Circe such a torturing death if what she did to Damien was true.
I stood up and walked to the barred window. I sighed as the faint sunlight gleamed through the window. I wrapped my hands around the bars and leaned my forehead against the cold metal and sighed. Not much I can do now.
It felt like I was frozen in that position. I was almost in a trance like state. Every death I caused played in my mind like a song on repeat. The same thing over, and over, and over. Face showing fearful, my merciless face, them trying to fight back, and me quickly killing each blue haired girl.
I jumped a little when the heavy metal door opened. I turned around it was Marcus.
"Yes?" I asked him standing to my full 4'3 stature.
"We need to ask you a couple of questions."
"Like?" I said in a light voice.
I got the evil glare from his eye. "Just come on." he demanded in a serious tone. I nodded and walked behind him. The halls echoed my light footsteps. I looked out the window and saw people down below. I didn't realize I was this high off the ground. I saw regular people, laughing. Probably not about to kill someone they would call their sister.
I sighed, this is not time to think this way. I thought. No emotions or I would die. I never have seen the sunset before. The sky's color was beautiful, pink and purple. I smiled to myself. Such a simple thing. Yet, how can I be so fascinated?
"Hina?" Marcus broke me out of my thoughts.
"Yes?"
"Were you listening?"
"Not particularly." I told him, glaring at him.
"Well we are dispatching you tomorrow." he opened a door into a meeting room.
"Are others coming?" I asked.
"No. As I was saying, you have to be on the down low. Circe cannot know your presence. If she does your as good as dead."
I sat down in a chair, I let the thought sink in. I looked up my gaze meeting his cold one. "Well, how do you want me to go about this?"
"Just don't do any unnecessary things, like stay out of overly populated areas. Hide. Don't be overly noticed. Luckily your hair is dark, so it won't be to easy to spot." his gaze flicked to my hair.
I stood up and turned my back, "Well, I am going to get some rest then." I walked out.
A hand grabbed my shoulder, I turned around. A gun was pointed at my forehead. I stared at the barrel. I sucked in a breath, I started to feel like I was ten.
"Can I please go to my room?" I whispered, my tough act disappeared.
"Don't pull any funny shit tomorrow, I will kill you. And don't try to escape either. We have a tracking device on you." I nodded. "Go now." Marcus demanded.
I was shaking as I was heading back to my room. I had passed a guard who had spit at me. I was quick to head back to my room. I shut the door quietly behind me. I let out a breath.
I fell on my bed. Once again I went into my trance like state. I had a bad feeling something would happen. My head turned to the window, the outside was dark now, I was surrounded by darkness.
The door of my room opened. My head snapped to the door and I watched the intruder come towards my bed. A awful smell surrounded this mysterious person. Alcohol? My muscles tensed.
"Shh." the man told me. He started to climb on my bed. I sat frozen. I knew what was going to happen. It can't happen again. I felt a kiss on my neck.
"You think you can get away with this?" I asked. I was ready this time.
"Ya I can kill you." the man slurred, he fumbled for something in his pocket. I brought out my Chiwa's and pushed him off me and onto the floor. I sat up. "You can be killed for this." he told me.
"Not if I make it look like an accident. Although I can't make it messy this time." I said half to myself. I stood up, the adrenaline came to me. Oh how I wanted to watch him bleed. No. I can't this time. I had my Chiwa's grab his neck and break it. I watched as the color left his face, and I smiled.
It didn't satisfy my blood lust, but it will have to do. I opened my door and looked down the hallway. No cameras, no people. I had my Chiwa's pick up his dead body so it wouldn't drag. I walked to the end of the next hallway without anyone there. They are all probably asleep or drinking. I found a window and threw his body out of it. Once his body was through the window I sprinted to my room, I knew the consequences if I were to be caught. I couldn't chance it. When I got to my room I looked around to see if anyone had seen me. No one was there but I did hear voices over the next hallway.
I pushed open my bedroom door, and shut it quietly. I silently walked to my bed and laid down. I listened to my shallow breathing as lullaby and fell asleep.
