"Coco!" I yelled up the stairs.

"Coming!"

I turned on the TV by the stove. It was Saturday and Coco was going to go shop with her new friends Azura and Marina. Coco still hadn't regained her memory back and I started to wonder who she really was and how she got here.

Coco walked down the stairs looking pretty sexy, in my opinion.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked her.

"Eggs." She said happily.

I sighed and cracked an egg open. I stared at the news when I saw a news alert.

"Hello, this is Mary Akins reporting from Pointe Street. A murdered teenager was found in her home last night by her parents. This young teenager was Gianna Brookes from Sparta High School."

My eyes widened at the screen, Gianna was Nat's best friend!

"Here with us is Natalia Evens. How did you know Gianna?"

Nat appeared on the screen, "I don't know who killed her. Who could do this to her? She was an amazing best friend!" Nat cried.

"Oh my God." I breathed.

"Some people are saying that because the anniversary of the disappearance of one young child and the murder of 40 others. This was as brutal and seems to have no recognition to who the murderer is."

I switched the TV off. That's enough. I noticed the eggs were a bit burnt.

"You okay Jason?" she asked.

I looked up Coco looked worried. "Ya, of course, its just sad that Gianna got murdered." I replied to her.

I thought Coco wouldn't understand, but I saw a tear in her eye. "You okay?" I asked her.

"Ya, it is sad that Gianna died. What are you really sad about though?" she whispered.

Coco could tell I was lying, I considered myself to be a good liar at times like this. But it seemed to be Coco could read straight through me.

"The anniversary of my sister's disappearance." I sighed. I felt tears forming in my eyes, I never cried except when it came my sister Alice. I shook my head and tried to think of something else. I turned my attention to the burnt eggs. I proceeded to put them on a plate and hand them to Coco.

I faced away from her again and put my head into my hands. I felt so awful. I wasn't even there for Nat my own girlfriend! I wasn't there for Alice either.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around. Coco stared at me with sympathetic eyes. She gave me a hug, "It will be okay Jason. It will. Trust me." she stood back and smiled. I looked at her, she seemed so positive, so sure. I felt my heart pull at itself when I thought about her hugging me.

We looked at each other for a couple minutes, when the door bell rang.

"Go have fun." I told her.

"Alright, bye Jay-Jay!" she went out the door. Jay-Jay? She gave me the nickname Jay-Jay? Well, it is kind of endearing. I decided to get to work on my homework. Coco was for some reason a super genius and every teacher adored her for it. So I had been doing my homework with her the past couple nights.

I sat down in the TV room and started on my Calc homework. It seems so much easier when she's here. I thought to myself.

Ring-Ring-Ring!

I walked towards the house phone wondering who it was.

"Hello?" I asked the person on the other end.
