"What!?", exclaimed Gabriella at dinner that evening
"Shh!", Alina said calming Gabriella down,"It's rude to raise your voice at the table."
"Thank you Lina.", I say smiling at her
"Don't mention it dad!", she said in a joyful tone
"Okay, okay...", Gabriella said trying to process everything,"You're saying that you are going to be the next Lord of all of Ru'an?"
"Yeah..."
"Oh my.", is all they could say
Gabriella is the age of about over a century. She has my blue eyes and blonde hair but, has the personality of her mother. Alina, on the other hand, looks like her mother but, acts like her father. Calm, polite, and quiet. Gabriella, since she is young in immortal years, she looks like the age of sixteen while Alina looks like an young adult since she is a bit older.
"Daddy, I love you but, you do realize that after Ru'an became one big country, to complete with other countries, it's changed.", Gabirella explained
"I know."
"You think you can do this?", asked Alina
"I believe I can. I have training to take on a role like this.", I admitted
"Well, we support you!", exclaimed Gabriella
"Thank you Ella.", I say
"Heh, it's my job to make you feel happy daddy.", she shrugging
We laughed at that.
"So...anything new?", I asked
"Well, Roy said I did amazing at my staff training today and said in the next year I can battle!", Ella explained excitedly,"W-With your permission of course."
"Ella. You know that I think it's amazing your taking on this job and I think that you would be amazing in battle.", I say with a soft smile
"Yet she can't date.", Lina sassed
"H-Hey! That's different!", I protested
They both laughed knowing that I stuttered.
"Heh, anyways, the library is getting the newest books from France. I believe that it will really help expand our knowledge.", Lina said
"Really? That's awesome!", I say
"I know! If I learn the language, Flora says I can join the council! Isn't that I amazing?!", Lina exclaimed
"It is!", Ella said
They continued to talk about their days and goals for the future. I just smiled and listened. I was so proud of them.
"Dad?", asked Lina
"Is everything okay?", asked Ella
"Yeah, I'm just so proud of you girls.", I say taking their hands
"We're proud of you too dad.", they said
I got up and hugged them both.
"I wish the others were here.", Lina said
I knew who she met. Levin, Malachi, and Lilth. They were all so close. They were kind of the four musketeers. Gabriella...sadly, never met them. They passed two years before she was born. She wishes that she could meet them, and believe I wish I had the power to do that. My relic...can only do so much.
