He's Coming

(So this is kinda based off of an RP I'm doing with lu-nar It's in Kamui's (aka the original female Corrin) POV. Enjoy!)

I sighed as I slashed at the few Vallite soldiers that had invaded the throne room. If I wasn't able to stop them here, they would get loose in the school, which was built on top of the castle.
The year was 2016, and for the thirtieth time since the war, the skies over Hoshido and Nohr would be changing soon. Now, my brother hadn't inherited it, but I had inherited the ability to see into the future, possibly from Mother or from Anankos, but there was no way to be sure.
Regardless, I'd seen something that disturbed me. Anankos was coming back. I wasn't exactly sure how this was happening, but it was. My only guess was that it had to do something to do with the way that we killed Anankos, just like when Chrom and his army had to decide if Chrom or Robin would land the final blow. In this case, it seems to be if Chrom was the one to to land the final blow.
Regardless, since it would be the thirtieth time the skies had switched, it would've given Anankos 1500 years to store up power. It would make sense that he would be returning not too long after the skies were done changing.

I was about to sit on the throne, exhausted from all the fighting, but I suddenly heard footsteps. Which meant someone from the high school was coming in the throne room. Since the Vallites were technically invisible, they didn't really make any sound when they walked.
"Who goes there?!" I shouted as I tightly gripped the Omega Yato.
A female voice that I didn't expect to hear spoke up. "Kamui? Oh, thank the gods you're here."
Sure enough, the 21st century reincarnate of the Azura that she once knew ran into the room. "Azura? What are you doing here?" I asked, very confused.
She then walked over to me, and I realized she was carrying her brass naginata, which I had given her when she first stumbled upon this room, which happened about six months ago. "It's about Leo and Takumi."
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Has it finally happened?"
Azura sighed. "No. Not yet. I don't know why you would think that. It's only their fifth day of senior year. And I think Takumi is on to the fact that he is related to the original Prince Takumi."
"It's about goddamn time," I mumbled.
Azura nodded. "...I can agree with you on that. Anyways, you'll need to prepare Brynhildr and Fujin Yumi for them. And you should do it fast. There's less than twelve hours remaining until the skies change."
I nodded. "I'm well aware of that, Azura. Though...there is something that has been troubling me...please tell me you have the pendant that my Azura once had...that it didn't get lost..."
Azura nodded. "Of course I have it, Princess Kamui. Why do you ask?"
I slightly grit my teeth. "...I have a feeling that Anankos is coming back."
Azura slightly gasped. "H-huh?!"
I sighed. "It's...a long story..."
I then saw Azura glance at her watch. "I'm sorry, Princess Kamui, but...I don't exactly have time for this story. School starts soon, and I have a class to teach."
I nodded. "Very well."
"Oh, one last thing."
"What is it?"
"Please tell me that you'll have the Brynhildr and Fujin Yumi ready."
I nodded. "Of course, Azura."
With a final smile and nod, she ran off.

I sighed. There was no way that if Anankos was coming back tonight that Leo and Takumi would be ready. The reincarnates of their brothers have had their weapons for a few years now, so they knew how to wield them, but Takumi and Leo had no experience whatsoever with the weapons they needed to wield.

At this point, all I could do was hope for the best.
