(A/N: Heyo! I have a few things to point out before y'all delve into this short story.
1. This is kinda sorta based off of a song called "Nightmare" by Set It Off. The video is attached, and you can watch it before or after, whichever you'd prefer.
2. This one is a bit more on the PG-13/14 side of the scale when it comes to my stories, as it does include a bit of cussing
3. This story overall is VERY dark, so I thought I would just put it out there....

Enjoy!)

I looked around in fear. I had no idea where I was. The last thing that I remember was that I was in the Sootopolis Gym, and I was on the couch, trying to take a nap.
Now...now I was in some type of black abyss. Is this all a dream? Oh Arceus... I really hope it is.
I went and did the whole pinching myself thing, and it hurt. Like hell.
I looked around, hoping to find anything. Anything at all. But I didn't. Pure darkness extended around me for what seemed like forever.
I curled up into the fetal position, truly and utterly scared for the first time in my life.

I must've dozed off or something at some point, because when I opened my eyes, I was in an all-too familiar setting: Chargestone Cave.
I tried to get up so I could find the exit and leave, but I found myself unable to move. I then looked down, and found that my arms and legs were tightly secured with webbing. I also notice that my Galvantula, Webber, happened to be nearby, and was watching me.
I then somehow worked up the courage to speak. "W-Webber? D-do you know where-"
I was cut off as he suddenly used a very powerful Thunder on me, causing me to scream in sheer pain.
I started to shake. I couldn't relive this moment. Not even if it was a dream. I was sure to be scarred forever, no matter what.
I continued to shiver in fear as my Galvantula climbed on top of me, and made quite the effective blindfold by spraying a swath of webbing at my eyes. Then, before I could complain or anything, he gagged me with some more webbing.
I tried to squirm, thinking it would help me, but the only thing that happened was that my bonds became even tighter, and more uncomfortable.
Webber then continued to cocoon me up, and that's when I became as still as a statue. My ultimate fear was about to become a reality: I was going to be eaten alive by a Galvantula.
I then felt Webber position itself on my stomach, and it delivered a Thunder that was powerful enough to knock me right out.

When I came to this time, I was relieved when I saw I wasn't in Chargestone Cave, and that I was 110% web-free. I looked around, and quickly determined that I was in some type of wasteland.
I started to run, even though I had no idea where I was running to. I just wanted out of...whatever this thing was.
I eventually stopped myself. I was at the edge of a very steep cliff, and one more step would send me diving to the floor.
I turned around so I could run the other way, and I almost fell backwards, towards my death, when I saw that someone was standing there, in my way. It was Michael. But something was definitely wrong with him. His eyes were red, looking as if he was out for blood, the claws on his right robotic hand were extended...and it was if Dialga was taking over the right side of his body. However, something was off with Dialga as well. The blue was darker than it should've been, and there was orange and red running along the metal armor, if you would.

I had no idea what to do. I was scared out of my mind with what was happening. I had no idea what the hell was going on, or even where the hell I was.
I then had the idea of trying to use a Shadow Ball on him, as I have Umbreon powers, but nothing happened.
Michael grinned, and when he spoke, his voice seemed to echo, and it was much deeper than normal. "What's wrong Sarah? Can't accept defeat?"
I slightly whimpered, feeling put down. "M-Michael! Wh...what's gotten into you? Th-this...this isn't you at all..."
He chuckled before he responded to what probably sounded like a childish remark to him. "What do you mean? I've always been this way, Sarah. It has been a part of me since forever...however, until recently, it was locked away in a deep slumber."
I suddenly collapsed to the ground in fear. "M-Michael...no...this....this isn't you....not at all..."
He then walked over to me, and set a foot on my back, which made me feel even smaller than I already did. "Sarah. You don't understand. Now...with this part of me unlocked, I can rule the ENTIRE world!"
I whimpered in fear, but Michael didn't seem to care about my feelings.
"Y'know what, Sarah? I don't need you. Not anymore. With you not wanting to support me at all, I finally have a reason to dispose of you, you bitch."
He then fired a Roar of Time at me, and I cried out as everything went black.

I suddenly woke up, caked in sweat. It was a dream. No. It was a Nightmare.
I looked around, and I was the only one in the room. That's when I suddenly remembered something. Something important. Tonight was the new moon. And Darkrai tend to come out on these moonless nights, and inflict nightmares on the innocent citizens....although I suppose I'm not so innocent...but that's a whole other story.
