(A/N: This is an excerpt from a story that I did a while ago that I didn't publish....for various reasons.
It's in Sarah's POV, and she's pretty much the same as always, but, well, you'll see the differences)
I was walking back to the Sootopolis Gym, having had a hard day at work at the Team Magma Base, as I was Maxie's second-in-command, as well as the Sootopolis Gym Leader.
I entered the Gym, and went into the living area that was behind the battlefield.
I was sure that Tabitha was already home, as I saw him leave the base earlier.
"Meg! Tabitha! I'm home!"
Tabitha then walked up to me, and kissed me, and I kissed back. "I'm making burgers for dinner. Meg is in her room, working on her homework."
I smiled. "Great. I'm going to go and change, and then check on Meg."
I then went upstairs, and dropped my bag in the computer room, and went into my room and changed.
As soon as I was done, I went into Meg's room.
She looked at me. "Hey Mom. Can you help me with my homework?"
I smiled and sat next to her on her bed. "Of course. What do you need help with?" I asked.
Meg sighed. "Math. Today we worked on solving quadratic equations."
I smiled. "I'd be glad to help."
I then helped Meg with her homework, until it was time for dinner.
After dinner, I pulled Tabitha aside. "Hey. I have some work for Maxie to do. Can you help Meg finish her math?"
He smiled. "Of course, honey. I'd be glad to help her."
He then pulled me in for a kiss, and we went separate ways.
