For life.

I get out the shower and go to his room. I wrap my hair in a towel and put on my blue jeans. I look for a shirt in my bag. Nothing goes with my jeans. I look in his closet and I see a shirt. I put it on and blow dry, comb and straighten my hair. I run down stairs and look for Jon.

“Babe where are you?”

“I’m in the living room.”

I walk in to the living room. I sit down and lean on Jon.  He kisses my head. “You look cute in my shirt, but you should call your friends and tell them you’re here. Just a thought.” Jon says looking at me. I get up, grab my phone and head up to his room.

The only person I call is Sammy.” Sammy do you know how much I miss you already.” I roll on my stomach

“I could say a lot Amber .I’m thinking about coming down there for spring break. Wouldn’t that be fun?” Sammy is always looking for a way out of Oklahoma. We talk for hour before Jon comes up stairs. He takes my phone.

“She’s got to go Sammy she’s going to cuddle with me! Bye!” He hangs up. “Really babe!?!? I was talking to her. You’re mean.” I start to pout. He gets on top of me. “Shut up and kiss me” He says kissing me. He rolls off me and lies on his side. I rollover and lay on his chest. “I can’t believe I’m with my baby…It’s beautiful.” I say looking into his blue eyes. I get up. “Where you going?” I turn to him, “I have to pee is there a problem?” I walk out. I walk in the bathroom and close the door. I feel sick. I’m cramping bad, I think it’s just my period but I’m going to make sure. I walk out the bathroom and into Jon’s room. “Where are the keys?” I ask looking around.

“Why? What’s wrong?” He looks at me.

“Just where the heck are the keys Jon!” I scream. I’m not mad but I just had gotten irritated by this point. “Whoa! Don’t yell they’re over there on the dresser. You sure you’re okay?” He looks at me like I’m some kind of weird creature. “Just peachy. I’m to the store.” I walk out and down the stairs. I get my purse and walk out to the car. I’m nervous at my age having a baby doesn’t sound amazing. I get out the car at Walgreens and walk in. I ask the lady for a pregnancy test and she gives me the most popular one. “Thank you so much.” I say paying the lady. She smiles and I walk out. I get and the car and sit there for five minutes before my phone rings. It’s Jon “Hey babe you get lost?” I laugh “No I’m coming now babe.” I hang up and start the car to go home. I make it home safe and then get out the car. I bought more than just the test to make it seem like I like we need more stuff. I walk in “Hey baby I’m home come help me.” I put the test in my pocket and run up stairs. “I’ll be back I have to pee!”  run into the bathroom and take the test. It takes about five minutes before the results.

I brace myself to look I’m nervous. I look and began to smile. I’m pregnant. Then I stop smiling, what if Jon’s not ready? What if I’m not? Oh my gosh what have I done?

I walk out the bathroom and downstairs. I look at Jon. "What's wrong?" I look around then back at him. "Jon....I'm pregnant."
