"What kind of favour, Jonathan?"
"Just don't bring up me being gone, She's, umm, Colby's girlfriend. She's been really depressed with him gone." I sigh. Its sad because I understand kind of how she feels. Having the person you love the most gone for a year,not like it's a month or so. Especially when you have kids.
"That's not a problem." I stand up and walk to Joseph's crib. "Hey baby boy." Joseph smiles. "So l ,uh been wondering, and its just a thought. "
"What's just a thought, Jonathan?" He sighs. Any time he says" just a tought" You better know better than that.
"If they wanted to keep me on the road for another year, would it effect us? "
"Jon... they can't."
Jon sighs. "They might. Babe but think of how much we can spend on the kids, we can even get that house you wanted."
"Jon talk to them, cause in a year anything can happen. I don't want you away that long. I don't want the house if I can't have you there." I grab Joe and go to the kitchen to make his bottle. "We'll see right? Baby.... I love you, I'd never let you go. Promise you won't?"
I sit the phone down on speaker. "I promise." I shake Joe's bottle.
I can't seem to stress how much I need him to be here for the kids.

Later that night I called Juliana back.
"Hi Juliana, it's Amber. I was wondering if you still wanted to help with Joseph and Ariana?"
