Chapter 34

Bad News

The nurse recited, “Um, I have some bad news, well, Mr. Hunter we couldn’t find your blood type.”

Tyler stuttered, “S-so what’s g-going to happen?”

I bit my lip, tears rolling down my cheeks. The nurse glanced down at the floor, and muttered, “Most likely, death.”

I burst out into bloody tears, weeping over Tyler. Tears rolled down his smooth cheeks, as he patted my back insuring me it was alright.

I exhaled, and choked out, “WHY, WHY HIM!”

Tyler burst out into tears, as he was shushing me. I cleared my throat, and blurted out, “No Tyler! Stop acting like everything is okay, because nothing is fucking okay!”

I pulled away from his grasp, as he yelped.

I stared at him, as he pleaded, “No, baby, please don’t do this before I die.”

I scrunched up my lips, and muttered, “All of this wouldn’t have happened if you haven’t made that careless decision.”

His tear stained face suddenly became confused, and he asked, “What decision?”

I narrowed my eyes, and muttered bitterly, “Giving me to Nathan!”

His eyes fluttered, as lay there, very still. His eyes were closed.

I blurted, “Tyler?”

No answer or movement.

My eyes widen as I scream, “Tyler?!”

No answer.

I hopped off the stool I was sitting on, and ran up to the hospital bed.

I started to press my lips against his cold skin, and mumbled, “No, Tyler, no please Tyler come one, don’t do this to me!”

I screeched, gesturing towards the door, “Help! Get me a fucking nurse!”

Tyler’s nurse instantly ran through the door, 4 others doctors and nurses following.

They ran up to the bed, and started doing everything they could to keep him alive.

I was sobbing, when the doctor looked up at me, and shook his head.

I moaned in horror, and took one more glance at Tyler, his beautiful face gleaming, like heavens lights were shining on him.

I ran out of the room, bawling my eyes out. I ran out of the hospital, and started up Nathan’s car by hotwiring it again.

I typed in the address back to the palace, and zoomed out of the parking lot. After 20 minutes, I arrived in front of the palace.

I parked the car, and turned it off. I stormed inside the palace; Nathan was talking to the Queen and King, an evil grin on their faces.

I spat, “Tyler’s dead, and so now I will blurt your secret to the world, I would like to be executed. I want to be with Tyler.”

The Queen narrowed her eyes, and whispered, gesturing to Nathan, “Get her.”

I took off, Nathan using his vampire speed to catch me. I climbed up the ladder at the side of the building, and got on top of the roof.

I squealed when I saw Nathan catching up to me. The streets were busy, and it was so high from where I was standing.

I announced, “Everyone, I have something to announce!”

Everyone stopped, and stared at me from down below, the heads held high.

I announced, “In this building, there are bloodsuckers!”

Everyone looked confused. A lot of people kept on walking, because they knew the secret. But most of the people stayed, like tourists.

I continued, “Yes, they are cold hearted, vamp” and that’s when I felt someone’s hand quickly snake around my waist, the giant arms picked me up, and held me over the ledge of the building.

I looked into the eyes of the beast… Nathan. I widened my eyes, as he grinned, and evil grin.

I choked, “Please, Nathan,” At that instant, I felt infinite butterflies visit my stomach.

I looked down, when I saw the cold, dark pavement, an alley way, and a bunch of garbage cans…

When everything went black.
