Chapter 35
Waking Up
“Put her on the stretcher! Bring her to the general hospital!”
Was the first thing I heard, when I woke from my unconsciousness. Everything was blurry at first, but the picture became more vivid where I was staring into, what seems like a red whirlpool.
I closed my eyes again, and opened them, to find that I was staring into Nathan’s eyes. I couldn’t do anything, but lay there, yet seems like all of my bones were broken.
I glanced down at my legs, and there were cuts and bruises. My head was bleeding… I can feel it. What was I going to do?
I wanted to die, to be with Tyler, and I’m kind of glad that Nathan did that. But I am pissed off at how I am still alive.
I was put in the back of an ambulance, and a very nice nurse was cleaning my cuts. She wiped down my arms and legs with a sponge and some water, which was stinging to my cuts.
It felt like the water was salt water, like she scooped some out from the ocean.
I choked out, “A-am I g-going to live?”
I croaked it hurt so much when I talked; it felt like my voice box got crushed.
She smiled and mumbled, “We hope so.”
I moaned in pain, as I asked, “W-what happened?”
I stuttered, not remembering too much.
She told me, “Well, you fell off the palace building, and you broke both your legs and arms, your throat is swollen, and you banged your head, and there is a huge gash in it, but if we can get to the hospital quickly, the first thing the doctor will do is clean the gash in your head, and stitch it up.”
I nodded my head faintly, as I closed my eyes. I heard sirens going off, it was the ambulance letting everyone know that we need to hurry to the hospital.
Kenton’s P.O.V:
We arrived at the palace, and saw police putting ‘caution’ tape around a huge blood puddle.
We parked the car, and ran to Nathan; he was staring at the blood puddle, I could tell her wanted to drink it.
I stopped him, holding back my thirst, and brought him inside the palace.
I exclaimed, “What happened?!”
His eyes were filled with guilt, I could tell.
He mumbled, “I-I think I killed C-Carissa.”
George spazzed out, and screeched, “What do you mean! We worked so fucking hard, just so you could get her, and now you killed her?! Nathan are you fucking stupid?!”
Nathan gritted his teeth, and grabbed George by the throat, and pinned him to the wall, squeezing tighter by every second.
Nathan spat, “It wasn’t my fucking fault! The King and Queen told me to get her, because she was going to spill our secret! I threw her off of the building, but she was still alive with the paramedics came!”
George punched Nathan, and Nathan released.
I spat, “Guys! Shut the fuck up!”
I started to walk down the aisle, as George, and Louis followed. Louis hadn’t said a word this whole time.
