"Where's Nate?" Morgan started asking around, concerned and a little angry.

It's been five hours. Five full hours.

I know Doctors appointments take a long time, but they don't take 5 hours. Espesially for Nate.

Is he okay?

God damnnit! He needs my help, doesn't he?

Did he even call me?

Checking my phone, I only see one message, from Luke, asking about plane times. Nothing from Nate.

So, dialing his number, I call him, before anyone notices. It rang a couple of times, but he didn't pick up. After 5 more rings, it went straight to voicemail.

Setting the phone down, I began to question. I swear I heard his ringer when I called him. Did he leave his phone here?

"I saw him leave around 7:00 this morning." Morgan's little sister say to her as she bit an apple.

She looked at Alex then sighed. "I didn't even hear him leave." She said. "Hell, I didn't even hear him get out of bed. Briar didn't even wake up."

My wife looked over, as Nate's mother walked back in with a confused sigh. "Why would he leave though?" She asked. "He really has no reason to."

"He mentioned something about needing to pick up something for you, Morgan." Phoebe told us.

"Yeah, I asked him to pick up peaches and some egss, but I didn't think he'd go at 7 in the morning. He's never up that early." Morgan corrected.

Alex looked at me, making me nervous. "Brett was with him this morning." She said then pointed at me. "Nate was talking to you this morning. You know where he went." She added.

I felt everyone look at me, and I swear to god, I felt the unacknowlaged stare of Nate and Morgan's daughter.

"Uh, he never told me where he was going. I was up making coffee, and he seemed to be in a hurry. I asked him where he was going, and he only said he had somewhere important to be." I say with a lie.

Actually, most of it's true. He did have somewhere important to go. That appointment was pretty important for him to be wide awake at 6:00 in the morning.

"Somewhere important?" Morgan asked. "He has no video shoots until next week." She added.

Getting weird looks, Morgan finished wrapping the baby into the baby carrier which was a long piece of fabric, wrapped around Morgan's chest and waist. It's a pretty usual thing for her to use, since she's always on the move.

"Let me call him." She said, grabbing her phone, silently dialing her partners number.

I felt the room go silent, as she went silent.

There it was again. His ringtone. It's there, but faint.

Maybe he did leave it here.

No, he couldn't have. I watched him grab it, before he left. The only thing he actually left here was his Health Card. (Which I'm sure he needs)

I hear his phone, but it went away again.

"Voicemail." Morgan sighed setting her phone down, as her daughter squeaked.

"Weird." My wife started with a look at me.

Morgan was silent for a moment then sighed. "I'll go talk to the lady at the front desk, maybe she saw him." She said. "She will tell me where Nate went."

With that, she walked towards the door, unlocking it. He even locked the door behind him? Geez, he has an entire plan around this secret.

Morgan left the door open as she walk out of the house. I only heard her go down a few steps before she let out a panicked yell.
