Hi I'm back. Sorry... Had some medical things going on.. I'm back though

After an hour, I took some concern..

He went to tend to our daughter an hour and a half ago.. Did he decide to work? Or is he asleep?

I walk down the hall quietly, knowing Brett is in the middle of a recording.

I remembered that not many people are in the house. Nate is home, I know that for sure... Alex is home, and I'm pretty sure, Mrs. Smith went out for an hour or two..

Phoebe was talking to me 20 minutes ago, but she decided she'd run out to pick up some materials.

Walking into my room, I see my daughter asleep in her own bed. I found my boyfriend, fast asleep on his side of the bed. So he WAS tired.. He was asleep on the made bed. He was using no blanket at all.

I noticed something different.. He was asleep on his stomach, with his left arm limply hanging over the bed, with his phone in his hand. It's weird. I've never seen him fall asleep like that. No matter what, he usually always sleeps on his side. Any time he doesn't, he's usually up all night, tossing and turning.

Well, no point staying in here. Knowing my luck, I'll accidently wake up Briar, and Briar wil wake up her father, who will then be in a bad mood until he falls asleep again.

Silently, I take his phone from his hand, in fear he'd drop it on the wood floor.. As soon as I did, she shifted slightly, making me hold my breath. But he remained still after a minute, making me release the breath I had in my lungs.

With a quiet sigh, I walk out of the room, closing the door behind me. As I did, I see Brett walk out of the recording room.

"Hey Morgan." He started loudly.

"Shh!" I hissed loudly pulling him away from the bedroom.

"What? What did I do wrong?" He asked me.

"Sorry." I say. "Briar and Nate are sleeping."

"Woah, those two asleep at the same time. The Zombie's must be attacking.." He laughed.

"Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with him." I tell him. "He didn't want to eat again today."

"He ate." Brett told me, making me look over. "Earlier today. When we were out, he ate a salad, then complained about how unsatisfying they were."

Sounds like Nate.

"Dont worry much about him." Brett told me with a smile. "He's okay."

I wanted to believe my friend, as I know Brett wouldn't ever lie to me..

But something about his answer.. Feels like a lie.
