MORGAN

Phoebe decided that our house was too crowded all of a sudden, so we went to the mall. Which is giving me a chance to buy proper clothing that aren't 10 times too big for me.

Brett said he'd go if Nate went.

At first, Nate didn't want to go. He claimed he had a headache, and wanted to sleep.. Then he reluctantly change his mind, because I told him I needed clothing that weren't maternity clothing, and he needed some minor equipment.

So he went. I can finally buy clothing, that fits me... Being that I know Nate and I aren't having anymore kids anytime soon. I think he's content with Briar, considering he never wanted kids. I'm going to turn that clothing into some other material that will be deemed useful.

I was with my sister, and she had my daughter, who she stole from Nate. Phoebe was with Brett who was with Nate, who was with his mother. Nate trailed behind everyone slowly with Brett. He had the hood of his dark green hoodie up, and his earbuds in.

I really don't think he wants to be here. He's concerning me. For a while now, he's been saying "He's fine, He's Okay, He's just tired." -- But he's acting really weird.

I think it's something I should be worried about, but he's just claiming he's not getting enough sleep. Which with Briar around, I believe.

But, I really hope that's it.

I was distracted when my sister walked to my side handing me my daughter, who I put back in her stroller. "Hey, answer this Morgan, why is your Boyfriend look so miserable?" She asked me.

"I think he's over tired. He's not getting much sleep." I explained slowly.

I look over, to find Nate complaining to Brett about something, and Phoebe was walking over to me, after leaving the boys.

She then nudged me.

"You should probably talk to Nate." She said to me.

"Why?"

"I really think something is bothering him." She told me.

"Shh, Phoebe, he's fine." I say, looking to the group of people. "Anyone up for food?" I ask, getting a yes, from Alex, Phoebe and Brett. Nate didn't even acknowledge me.

"Nate?" I call, making him take his ear buds out.

"What's up, Darlin?" He asked.

"Food?" I ask. "You hungry?"

"Not really." He answered, before Brett nudged him madly. "Uh, I mean.. I can eat."

I give him a weird look, but shrug it off. From the corner of my eye, I see him take a step only to almost drop. Thankfully, Brett caught him, pulling him back up.

I shoved the baby stroller to my sister, going to my boyfriend. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask him as he fixed his hair.

"Walking." He answered.

"You just fell." My sister claimed.

He gave my sister a look, before struggling to stand. Thanks to Brett, he managed to stay up.

"Nate, sit down for a minute." I her his mother say quietly, as Brett moved him towards the edge of the Fountain.

"I'm fine, just got dizzy. I'm okay." He said, looking at Brett.

"Have you eaten at all today?" I ask him.

He didn't even answer me.

"Look," he finally stood up, regaining his balance. "Morgan, I'm okay. Don't worry about me. Just a little light headed... Maybe I forgot to eat today. I was too focused on Work."

I went silent.

"Well, if everyone's hungry. Brett and I will do a Food Run. What's everyone wanting?" He asked calmly.

"Just grab some Burgers and Fries, I guess." I tell him.

I saw him fight a cringe when I said burgers, but he looked at me, taking out his wallet. "You want Salad?"

"Yes."

"Hold it!" his mother stopped him, grabbing his arm gently. "You are NOT paying for all of this."

"Uh, yeah. I am." He answered calmly. "I don't mind."

And that's when she took his wallet from him.

"You're not paying for all of it. I'll split the bill." She said to him.

I saw my boyfriend try his hardest to remain calm.

"Can I have my stuff back?" He asked, knowing he'll lose his cool any minute.

"Fine." She finally gave him his wallet back, as well as a $20.00 bill which she took out of her purse. "I'm splitting the bill with you, Nate."

My boyfriend shook his head. "I'm not taking your money." He told her.

She narrowed her eyes, shoving the money in his hand. "Take it!"

I watch my boyfriend look to his mother, then to his own then to me.

"Just go, buddy." I say to him.

"You okay with Briar?" He asked, concern in his voice.

"Well, yes. Until she gets fussy and wants her dad." I smile.

"All right." He said to me, before Brett grabbed his arm.

"Let's go, Nate." He said to him, pulling him away.

"Meet us at Guess!" I call to my boyfriend.

"Okay!"

He's hiding something and whatever it is, I hope for his sake, it's nothing serious.
