Third Person POV:

Eren slept for the rest of the night and all through the morning. No one disturbed him, and no one questioned why the short raven was laying next to the King

When Eren's green eyes shone alive again, the sun was high in the sky above ground and the lights of the underground bright

Eren looked over, slate grey eyes met the golden green of a King

Words were spoken, each new scetence formed was treasured between the two tired souls

Most of the time they spoke, they studied each other, noticing the small smile for some words and the sad happy eyes of the other

Eren noticed Levi had dimples if he smiled, his teeth straight and pearly white. He was beautiful, untouchable

Levi saw the marks along Erens face where the mask was before, his fingers lightly tracing the tan line over his nose and under his eyes. He stared at Eren shamlessly, simply enjoying the brunette's presence

Both of them knew once they got up, once they left the room things could change again. Eren might be rediculed by the people for leaving, thus being rejected as the King again, Levi could be killed on the spot for leaving in the first place

Eren's mind was fragile still, it hurt Levi to see his great King brought down to a scared, scarred state of mind. Levi knew the horror that Erwin could have inflicted on Eren, but didn't want to address it

In all the time they talked, they were farely separate and just looking at each other

A silence then fell over the two, their smiles and laughes slipping from their face like water as they looked at each other

Levi leaned in, seeing Erens fear he placed his hand on Erens jaw lightly

"Do not be afraid Your Majesty, you are safe" Levi whispered to the King, the scared King of the Rebellion

Eren closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath and nodding

Levi leaned in more, connecting his lips with Erens softly and pulling him closer

Eren tilted his head the other way, his mind loosing itself in the kiss he was sharing with Levi, his hand raising to Levi's shoulder as he leaned into the raven

Their kiss was cut short by a knock at the door. Levi pulled away with a disappointed frown, getting off the bed and going to the door

He opened it, seeing Jean there carrying a tray of food

Levi bowed lightly in respect, Jean nodding and walking into the room with the food

"Eren, how are you?" Jean asked, going to the side of the bed as Eren sat up against the bed

"I'm fine Jean, how have things been?" He said, not picking at his food as he looked up at the two toned boy

Jean sighed and placed his hand on Erens head, "I'm okay King, it's been real shitty without you" Jean said lightly, stepping back from Eren, "Armin is going to come over and assess your mental strength to see if you can still be King..." Jean said quickly and backed up, turning to Levi and nodding as he left

Levi shut the door after him and walked over to Eren, he went to kiss him but Levi stopped Eren softly

"Eat first" Levi said as Eren frowned in confusion. Eren rolled his eyes and looked away

"I'm fine Levi" he said quietly, Levi snorted and sat on Erens lap

He grabbed a toast and held it in front of Erens mouth, "Eat" he ordered, Eren rolled is eyes again but ate anyways

After Eren finsihed the whole plate of food Levi was gonna kiss him and snuggle with Eren

Alas, everyone had other plans for him

Armin was soon in the room, talking with Eren, asking him questions then even testing his hit and defense speed. Mikasa also came, seeing she had taken the roll of Queen when Eren was gone made Eren jealous

Yes, jealous. He was jealous that they had replaced him, but he couldn't blame them at all

They needed a ruler

"Eren? Did he do anything to you?" Armin asked, a notebook in hand as he looked at Eren levelly

Eren looked up at Armin, his pupils turning into slits of fear as he remembered

Levi placed a hand over Eren's gently, leaning into him letting him know he was there

"Not Erwin himself physically no" Eren answered quietly, Armin watching him carefully, "but I was tortured every other night...That's why my back..." He trailed off and looked away

Armin looked at Eren sadly and nodded, putting a hand on his shoulder "I think that's enough for today" he said and smiled softly, "why not go to the gardens?" He suggested and Eren nodded, his eyes open but blank on the ground

Armin left, causing me to stand and help Eren to his feet. His legs and arms were so thin, so weak still

Levi was half scared he would break Eren everytime he touched him

Both of them needed a shower, but Eren had to wait till tonight

So, Levi wouldn't leave Eren till then

The pair made their way through the castle, leaving it to the back of the town

They were led on donkeys to the end of the town, finding their way to the large green area quickly

Levi's hand clasped around Eren's, leading him slowly through the long red paths through the green garden. Some of the trees were starting to become yellow, sunlight easing its way through mirrors on the roof to the ground

"They made this garden with sun mirrors, as we can't just put a large hole in the roof..." Eren explained softly, his eyes travelling around the browning, bright red and yellow area

The pair stopped under the biggest tree in the garden, it's large branches holding bunches of leaves

The underground was such a large area it had its own air flow, so a soft breeze made its way through the garden

"Beautiful..." Levi said, not looking at the garden but right up at Eren, his eyes studying the brown haired beauty in the light of the midday sun

Eren smiled for the first time since Levi saved him, looking around the garden oblivious to Levi's compliment

"Isn't it?" He said and looked down at Levi, his smile slipping off his face as he looked at Levi

"Is something wro-" Eren was cut off in the cheesiest way possible, Levi leaning up and kissing Eren softly

Eren responded, his hand going to Levi's face as he kissed his raven saviour back

Levi pulled closer to Eren, his arms winding around Eren and holding him compleatly

The pair stayed together for the remainder of the day, falling asleep in the garden together

Safe in each other's arms, guarded by the Rebel's and happy
