Nouns name people, places, things, or ideas.
They are even divided into proper, common, collective, possessive and compound ones.
You say you are familiar about it and can easily categorize
But why can't you even memorize
My five letter proper noun name?

Pronoun takes the place of a noun.
It's even categorized into reflexive, indefinite, possessive, and relative pronoun.
I really can't understand you about your knowledge of these parts of pronouns.
How come you don't know that I am only the possessive pronoun 'yours'?

Verbs show actions or state of being
And I am sure you are aware of the verbs such as linking, action and helping.
Then again, are your brain cells twisted from
English lessons?
Why can't you even see what I am doing for you to notice me?

Adjectives describe or modify nouns and pronouns.
I'm pretty sure you know that they come before the word they are modifying.
But your sense of description, aren't they functioning?
Why can't you describe your feeling which comes after I stop smiling?

Then here comes adverbs which modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.
I know our teachers informed you that it answers the questions: how, when, where, what, and why.
And right now, all I am asking you is 'why'.
Just 'why'...but 'why' can't you manage to answer with an adverb?
Prepositions show the relationship between a noun or a pronoun and some other word in the rest of the sentence.
Well, just so we're clear, we aren't a noun or a pronoun respectively
But can we not be just like them and search our preposition?
Who knows we can find the perfect preposition to show what our relation is?

Actually, I can suggest the conjunction, which join two or more words, phrases, or clauses.
You may consider FANBOYS in the list but there are a lot more in our choices.
Maybe, if we go hand in hand to hunt for that certain conjunction,
There would be that gluing word to permanently join our hearts and seal our connection.

If ever this love story ends happily, interjection would show my excitement or emotion.
I know they are not grammatically connected to the rest of the sentence
But I am sure they are connected to what my heart shouts that affects even my intestines
Alas! I've just written you a poem
To understand parts of speech and my unrecognized feelings.
