Uncle Vernon had come downstairs with a shotgun, the door was knocked down and a large man who barely fit through the doorway came in and picked up the broken door, putting it back into place. Then he turned around and said "couldn't make a cup o' tea, could yeh? It's not been an easy journey..." The large man walked over to the couch that Dudley was currently frozen on and said "budge over, yeh great lump." Dudley squeaked and jumped up running behind his mother who was cowering behind uncle Vernon. "An' here's the twins!" I glared at him apprehensively, keeping Harry behind me and said "how do you know us!? And what do you want?!"

The huge man seemed taken aback and said "calm down canis, the names rubus hagrid and I'm here to take you to Hogwarts!" I was still apprehensive and said "do you swear your not here to harm Harry?" The man called Hagrid looked offended and said "o' course I won't hurt 'arry or you!" I relaxed a bit and nodded moving out of the way of Harry so he wasn't squashed into the corner next to the fireplace.

Hagrid seemed to be inspecting me and said "well gosh I didn't expect yeh to be so tiny, yeh look like yeh haven't eaten in a decade." I ignored his comment and the truth behind it as uncle Vernon said "I demand that you leave at once, sir, you are breaking and entering!" He had the gun pointed at Hagrid and it made me uncomfortable having a gun so close to Harry. I glared angrily at it and all of the sudden the gun began to glow a bright red and uncle Vernon shouted in pain dropping it. I jumped slightly in surprise, as uncle Vernon back away from Hagrid, who looked unphased by the smoldering gun. He just got up and started a fire in the hearth, though with what I had no idea, He glanced at my still shivering form and said "come here yeh two, yeh look like yer bout to fall apart." Harry and I moved closer to the fire happily relishing the heat as Hagrid seemed to remember something and began looking through his pockets, he brought out a small box and said "got something fer yeh two, I might of sat on it but it'll still taste alright, happy birthday!" He handed the box to Harry who opened it to see a cake I smiled instantly deciding to like Hagrid and said "thank you, hagrid sir."

Hagrid nodded and clapped his hands, looking around "what about that tea then, I'd not say no ter something stronger if you've got it, mind." He had started digging all sorts of things from his pockets, I watched interestedly as he Took out a copper kettle, a squashy package of sausage, a poker, a teapot, several chipped mugs, and a bottle of an Amber liquid that he took a sip of before starting to make tea.

Soon the small hut was full of the smell and sound of sizzling sausages that made my stomach twist and growl in anticipation and hunger, I blushed as Hagrid chuckled and slipped the sausages off the poker. I noticed Dudley basically drooling over them as uncle Vernon said "don't touch anything he gives you Dudley." Hagrid chuckled darkly and said "yer' great puddin' of a son don' need fattening anymore, Dursley, don' worry." Then he split the sausages evenly and handed them to us, I looked from the sausages to Harry who was already scarfing them down, he seemed to know what I was thinking and said "you promised canis, eat." I sighed and nodded, though I was hesitant to eat them because I was worried about Harry eating enough. Once I took a bite I lost all self control and downed them all quickly, not caring about manners with the pit in my stomach yelling for food.

Once I had finished the sausages, since it looked as though nobody was going to explain I said "I'm sorry sir, but I still don't quite understand who you are and why your here." Hagrid took a gulp of his tea and then said "call me Hagrid, everyone does. An' I'm keeper of keys at Hogwarts -- yeh'll know all about Hogwarts o' course." I edged closer to Harry as he said "er--- no." The look of shock on Hagrid's face was enough to put me instantly back on edge. Harry's confused voice quickly said "sorry," which seemed to anger Hagrid more "sorry?" He barked turning his angry stare at the Dursley's, who shrank back into the shadows. "It's them as should be sorry! I knew yeh weren't gettin' yer letters but I never thought yeh wouldn't even know about Hogwarts, fer cryin' out loud! Did yeh never wonder where yer parents learned it all?"
"All of what?" I asked.
"ALL WHAT!?" Hagrid thundered. "Now wait jus' one second!"he had lept to his feet in anger and was extremely intimidating as he seemed to fill the whole hut. The Dursley's were cowering against a wall.
