The Most Painful Word
I never thought that a genuine "sorry" could be this painful.
All my life, I've heard so much of hurtful words.
But none of those broke my heart.
"Sorry."
That simple word is a sharp knife. It sliced my heart.
"Sorry."
It's a bullet from a gun; attacked my heart. It made a big hole.
Sorry, because you can't love me back?
Sorry, because you can't do the things I did?
Sorry, because you're not the one for me?
"Sorry."
Damn, it hurts.
I never thought that a genuine "sorry" could be this painful.
