You're Just Another Memory
You're just like one of those cup of coffee;
Once the last drop poured on my mouth,
Universe could never bring back the clock
Replaying what happened yesterday.
Even the shortest of glimpse has flown away.Just like those leaves falling on the ground;
Underneath their withered texture,
Sunlight once made them vibrant.
Thus, they are only once part of a tree's branch.And always, you're that coffee and leaves.
Never come a day that I didn't lose you;
On the seashore, on the ocean blue.
The echoes of your sweet little kisses,
Heaping me to you, and to nothingness.
Every time the wind blows gently,
Remnants of you were scattering slowly.My love, you were a sunset I've watched,
Ended my heart breaking for the night.
My love, on a cake, you were my last slice,
On a cookie, you were my last bite.
Rewinding them wouldn't ever help;
You're just another story, another book I've kept on my shelf.
