As sad as 2am,
as drowning as 3am,
but as beautiful as 6am.
Write me down as a poem.
As timeless as tales,
as sincere as wishes,
but as loud as sirens.
Write me down as a poem.
As painful as goodbye,
as burning as sorry,
but as calm as good night.
Write me down as a poem.
As lost as stars,
as broken as hearts,
but as real as ours.
Write me down as a poem.
One I can go home to,
and one I can say
I was worthwhile
to be written, too.
