He finds peace in them as he dies with sadness. He finds solace in them, in a way that there are still people trying to hold on to something that's been gone. That he's not the only one battling against the war of aches and tears.
Sad songs and sad stories comes along with brokenness. And as he play and read them, his breaking comes along with healing.
