The Idea of Night Street
I've always loved the idea of night street.
It is endless and uncornered.
It has carried million pairs of feet
wanting to drive away
and run lost.It has collected
memories
floating in dusts
and smoke.It has written
stories,
about failed dream,
and forbidden love.It has dried ice cream drops
from strangers passing by.And then there's us
coming across,
wanted to share the whole night
walking with each other.Street by street with you,
I'm loving every step. And before I knew it,
they all turned into
small talk about random things,
unfamiliar exchange of smiles,
and sudden change of heartbeat. They were all worth while,
especially you.So before we go,
I want to say
that for the next time
we'll escape,
meet me
outside.In the street,
where it all began.
