Hide and Hold
We've spent our days
hiding behind everyone.
We've been burrying everything
underneath the ground. We used to ride our bicycles
down to the forest side of our town;
in where we're free from people's frown.
We would sit on our favorite bench,
and talk, and kiss
and throw our fears outside the fence. We used to walk in the middle of the street
while everyone else is having their sleep.
We would randomly dance in the dark,
while our feet is guided by moonlight.
We would close our eyes,
we would own the night,
and wished we could to this
everywhere if we might. But we would rather run away together,
until our chest were much lighter. We used to see our own world
in a view we could only understand.
We built our own illegal home
with a great wall behind.
We planted our own garden,
with barrier and broken lines.
If these were destroyed,
could we take another chance?Because we're so afraid
to get caught by their sharp gazes.
But as promise, we'll be strong always. We used to live and love this way.
But don't worry,
someday we will go out there.
And instead of going miles away,
we would keep the distance less further.
