Our Little Everything
I was another dead person
trying to be alive everyday.Numb.
Colorless.
Wilted.Until you came.
Maybe the braviest thing I did
was to love you,
even I knew that all at once,
one of us will leave,
and the other one will live in pain.We will end up hurting,
but I chose to be hurt by you.I hate the idea of dying,
but that's our end point.
One day, the universe will refrain
giving us another day
to be with each other. One day, we're gonna be speck
of dust floating to endless matter
and we're gonna be forgotten.
But I think, we're made
to create something we'll remember.
And I want to remember you;
every day after next,
I want to remember everything. My days were numbered.
And instead of spending them
grieving all day,
I'm glad that I'm spending
them all with you.It was unfair.
Our lives were unfair.
But we may have short time span
atleast, we have a long
long story to tell.
Because you're giving me
all the reason to continue
this infinite journey with you,
even it sounds impossible. If this is my last time to write about you,
I want to take this chance
to thank you for our little world,
our little time,
and our little metaphor
that will soon end.Thank you for
our little everything.
