who am i?

I'm valethra, though you can call me val, and I'm 25. I'm queer and into anime, manga, and video games, and identify as "mixed" in terms of race. I'm generally left-leaning, but I probably won't bite your head off for a microaggression or anything, so don't worry.

My art is a bit all over the place, and this is because my major weakness is referencing. I can't freehand to save my life. I end up using about 49 references just for one picture, and in the end it often looks traced! This is my major hurdle, one I am attempting to overcome and that will only be conquered with practice.

I'm posting finished art here for the most part. Don't expect many updates with new pieces. If you like my stuff, check out my deviantart account by the same name.

I do not take requests normally, but I may occasionally ask for help with practice, in which case I might ask people to submit OCs for me to draw or something.
