In which I showcase and scream about my art. I've been the art kid since I could hold hold a pencil, so be prepared for lots of ramblings and the occasional journal entry/essay thing that doesn't even include a picture about my artistic journey thus...
So my family needs money. I make shit from my part-time retail job, my brother and sister are unemployed, and my mother's disability check just barely covers the mortgage. I need to start making some extra cash on the side! So after doing some research, I've decided to try making income doing YCH commissions and making adoptables. I might also make some P2U bases and stuff like that. (I'm also probably gonna set up one of those ko-fi things, but we'll get to that later.)
I'm also gonna try painting a digital portrait sometime soon, and if that goes well, I might make a second DA account where I post portrait commissions and my more realistic art. It would be my backup DA to give to people I know or meet in real life ;) The valethra username is now inseparably tied to gay (sometimes pornographic) fanfiction and I'm trying to separate it from irl me as much as possible.
Anyway, I collected some bases to use and made some Halloween adoptables! I unfortunately have to charge way more than similar artists would because I am just so darn slow. Time is money and all that jazz. I went with vampires for my first theme! The bases are by the DA user Lovewhile and the designs and all that are mine. Drew them in Procreate and threw the sheet together in Medibang.
