"Goodness, (Y/N), you're so noisy!" Your mother laughed, picking you up and holding you above her head, earning a giggle from your mouth. "Did you really miss me that much? I was only in the other room!"
A bubbly laugh escaped your lips as she made a buzzing sound on your stomach, tickling it.
"Silly little bumble bee!" Your mother laughed again, now cradling you in her arms as you settled down and got tired.
Your father suddenly burst into the room, sweat dripping from his forehead. A sickening expression of fear and anger was plastered onto his face.
Your mother got worried, "Love? What's wrong-"
"The town - the castle - its all being attacked by the invaders."

You cried. Why did you cry? Because of what you heard. What did you hear?
Nothing.
The silence scared you.
You were used to constant noise. People laughing and chatting, different items being banged around and collided with other things, and loud music were things you could easily be content around. You could even sleep through it. Well, through most things.
Before, you couldn't exactly remember anything that had happened. It was all a blur.
What really went down, is that there was a war between two human kingdoms and your family - being royalty - was caught in the crossfire.
Both your mother and father were killed, both trying to protect you. The enemy could've killed you there and then as well, but instead decided to throw you into the mountain that was said to hold ravenous monsters. The savages thought the monsters would do a better job.
Right now, your body curled itself into a ball and your tiny hands gripped at the golden flowers underneath you. You were frightened, and tears kept rolling down your face.
If you were wondering on how old you were, you were around - or a little younger than - two years old. Just a small/medium baby that was decent in crawling, babbled often, and still had peach-fuzz/very short hair.
You were a happy infant; you didn't cry as much as a normal baby would. You only cried when you were in the extremes, which meant your caretakers had to have an extremely good eye for signs of hunger and sleepiness.
And since you were considered a happy baby, you were very giggly. Always would laugh at silly faces or actions sent your way or to others that you just happened to catch sight of.
Your (E/C) orbs blinked in surprise as something brushed your sides and circled around your waist. A squeak escaped your mouth as you were hoisted into the air by long, slightly thick, green things and before you was a single golden flower.
Using common knowledge, the 'green things' that picked you up were vines, but your young mind didn't know that.
"Howdy, uh, little human," the flower tilted his head, "welcome to the Underground."
Being the curious type, you poked and grabbed at the things around your waist. The flower didn't seem all that amused.
"Hey. Quit that and look here. Hey- look here."
Two slim vines crawled to your cheeks and forced your head to look in his direction. You didn't like the feeling of being forced, and so you started to tear up, which seemed to make the flower even angrier.
"Stop that! Don't you dare-!"
You cried, yet again. Not only that, but you were starting to get hungry. Very hungry.
"Why'd it have to be something so... so young?" He muttered to himself. "Never mind. I can still take a weak soul... Its human at least."
He initiated a battle with you, your (F/C) soul appearing. It was surprisingly strong for an infant, and the flower gave an evil grin.
"Ohoho.~ I didn't expect this," he gave off a cackle that started to make you cry even more. It scared you. "Well, little human, let me say that your sacrifice will make a certain flower very happy.~"
You felt a burning sensation and you hated it. Big, ugly tears ran down your face and you cried out.
"But nobody came.~ Ah hahahaha-" His laughter was interrupted when a fireball knocked him head on, making him drop you and disappear.
You hit the flower bed with a soft thump, and even though the short fall had not hurt, you still cried from the events before. Your soul had since disappeared from view.
"Oh my! A human child so terribly young!" Someone picked you up from where you lay and held you, wiping away your tears gently with their finger; all the while making sure not to poke your eyes out with their claws.
Your whimpering ceased as you gazed into the pale red eyes of an older goat monster. She looked and felt fluffy and you couldn't resist but to reach out and put your hands on her muzzle.
"Haha. It seems as if you are interested in me, are you not? Well, my very young child, it seems we will get a chance to learn about each other. Come along, I will fix you a pie once we reach my abode."
As she walked along, she told you a little about the Ruins - not like you'll understand anyway - before pausing and asking you something else. "I know you are young, but might you prefer cinnamon or butterscotch?"
( Choose! )
{ Cinnamon } Or { Butterscotch }
You babbled out an answer similar-sounding to (Your Choice). The woman smiled and nodded.
"Ah. I see. Well then, I will most definitely make a (Your Choice) pie!~"
She carried you up stairs, the bases covered with red leaves. You didn't really pay attention to the surrounding area and mostly paid attention to the goat woman in front of you.
You hands reached up and curled around a floppy ear of hers. She laughed as you started tugging on it.
"Now, now dear. Don't pull too hard! That's my ear!"
You stopped as the changing background tugged your eyes to look at it. The purple walls looked pretty and the puzzles interested you. You couldn't help but babble to yourself as you observed everything.
There were monsters appearing around different corners and spaces staring at you in curiosity. Froggits croaked silently to each other and Moldsmols wiggled about, each action captivating you. Unbeknownst to you was that Toriel's glare was the thing that drove them away.
"Not too long now, my child," The lady smiled. "My home is just up ahead."
Your eyes embraced the sight of the split path, one heading forward and the other tugging to the left. The woman carried you to the left and you both entered a room.
Proud in the center stood an old, dead-looking tree with all of its leaves surrounding the ground around it. Up ahead was a quaint little house that - as you got closer - had a familiar homey scent.
The goat stopped at the entryway, "This is it. What do you think, my child?"
You gave a toothy grin and a bubbly laugh which made the woman beam.
"I'm glad you like it! Well, welcome to my home, little one." As she entered in, her warm smile widened, "This is going to be - or is - your new home!"
The pleasant atmosphere and welcoming sights seemed to be saying the same thing and you relaxed, a content, small smile adoring your face.
