"* no, wait wait, i got another one," the skeleton held up a hand, hardly able to contain the snickers that was rattling from his ribcage.

Undyne didn't look very pleased. She honestly just looked highly annoyed, which you couldn't really see why she would be.

"* so, you said this might be the last time we encounter mettaton, hm?" He started, his grin extending from one cheekbone to the other.

She sighed, "Yes, I did say that. There's no where else he could actually preform besides after the Core. He must be meeting us here."

"* so... could you say this is gonna be the very core of his performance?~" He flashed her another wide grin, ribcage heaving with all the contained laughter at his own dumb joke.

Undyne, of course, continued not to be amused, just rolling her eyes and groaning. "That's not even that good of a joke..."

Sans waggled a finger at her. "* all my jokes 'aren't even that good' to you. * therefore, my joke was very decently used."

If you couldn't tell, your little group was just walking through the hotel and now entering in the Core, the next area in your journey home.

You were walking by now, leading the group by only being two feet away. They were watching you closely, of course. And just because you led the group didn't mean you knew where you were going. You had Undyne and Sans to rely on for directions.

Once entering, you halted and observed your surroundings. The first thing you spotted... an elevator. You shuddered and stuck out your tongue.

"* hm? what's up kiddo?" Sans asked, catching up to halt beside of you and ruffle your hair.

Undyne laughed and shook her head, joining the two. "Oh I see. Its an elevator. Leads directly to the last corridor of the Core."

"* is the elevator what the kid's scared about?" The skeleton asked, looking rather amused himself.

"Yeah! They absolutely hate those things!"

You puffed out your cheeks at their amusement towards your fear. How dare they make fun of you! Its a completely rational fear to have!

"Now... Which path do we take?" Undyne asked, her eyes glancing between the two. "Left or right?"

"* well," he responded by waving his left hand. "* left is my dominant everything, so lets take the left one."

"Tsk," the fish let out the sharp puff of air from behind her teeth. "Judging from which hand is dominant? Thats not reliable at all."

Sans just laughed. "* dominant left hand, left leg, even left eye. * i'm a lefty through and through."

"Don't tell me, Papyrus is a righty?"

"* nope, he's ambidextrous." Sans answered her with a grin, earning a groan.

Looking around, Undyne was the one who finally took notice, now starting to panic. Her eyes darted this way and that, her brain was running through multiple scenarios at a time.

"* uh, undyne? * you ok?" Sans would perk up a 'brow', tilting his skull slightly in questioning.

"The human! The human's not here!"

"* wait, what??" The skeleton looked around too, now noticing that you weren't present either.

You weren't present. That was fact. You had honestly gotten bored of doing nothing but listening to Sans and Undyne chat without going anywhere, so you took matters into your own hands and went out on your own. You took the left path as Sans had suggested before. How'd you know your left from your right? Easy, Sans had pointed out the path as he had spoke about it.
