"Me? A megalomaniac? Hm... I've never thought of it like that before." Abraham's grin only grew wider by the minute.

Your father grimaced, staring down your uncle with a harsh stare.

"What's with the look, brother? Just think of it! Our name striking fear throughout the hearts of many! Conquering other kingdoms and making our own empire! The (L/N) Empire. Has a nice ring, don't you think?"

The men behind him cheered on the name chanting it three times before they were hushed.

"Now, onto the point. I must dish out my last step in my plan. The last step is to kill off David, Meredith, and their sweet, little baby... Oh, what's their name again? (Y/N), isn't it?"

"I won't let you do this!" You father shouted in defiance, stepping completely in front of you and your mother, his sword held out so that the tip was pointing at his opponent.

"Are you actually challenging me?" Abraham said, faking an aghast expression.

"To defend my kingdom and my family... Yes."

"Alright boys... Watch and learn." And with those words, the deadly duel started, and two souls bursted into view.

Your father lunged his sword forward, his brother parrying the blow with his sword faced down vertically. Your uncle started to joust forward towards your father's chest, but his sword was beaten down before he had a chance.

The two exchanged blows, counters, and parries. Each seemed to be on equal terms with the other. That is, until, Abraham ducked a swing to the head and kicked out David's feet from under him. Now, your father was at a disadvantage.

Your uncle batted and swung at your father, who was desperately blocking and rolling out of the way.

Meredith's eyes were wide in terror, holding you tight to her chest. She was frozen in fear. She couldn't move or say anything. If she tried, she'd only be gulping air like a fish out of water.

And in what seemed like only brief moments, your father's sword was being cast aside and it clattered harshly against the floor. The tip of your uncle's sword was only centimeters from your father's throat, the grin your uncle wore was terrifying.

"What now, brother? You have been defeated, and now shall die. At least you didn't do so in vain. It was rather heroic, if you wished to hear some form of comfort from me," he chuckled, looming over David and eyes flashing crazy gleams. "Any last words?"

No words were spoken. After a couple minutes of silence, Abraham grinned, shrugging his shoulders, and then gave a thrust of his arm.

The floor was dirtied by your father's blood, Meredith now finding her voice in this moment, and let out a blood-curdling scream. She screamed for David, begging him to wake up, to come back....

...but nobody came.

You were too tired to stand for anything else, and the booming voice of this new person just about did it. Your lip quivered, and the rest of your expression scrunched up to show your discomfort.

Glancing down, Sans caught this, immediately taking action and trying to cover your ears with a jacket sleeve. "* sorry bro. * i was, uh, near my post."
