"W-What?" Your mother stammered, her face suddenly very pale.
"You heard me. We need to leave immediately. Now." He answered, stepping forward.
"Don't step forward any more," your mother responded, stepping forward herself. "The door is behind you."
Your father nodded solemnly, smoothing a hand over your sleeping head before whipping around to dash out the door, your mother at his heels.
A knight in bloody armor came swiftly around the corner, hollering for the king and queen to follow him. "Your majesties! This way, hurry!"
Both followed and they were led towards the back of the castle and out the back doors. Their footsteps echoed off the stone pathway and the vision blurred, echoes of footsteps increasing until....

You awoke with a start. Your mouth quivered and body tingled. Your small hands creeped to your face to rub at your sleepy eyes. In an instant you were doing what all little kids do at some point. Cry.
Your sobs echoed throughout the pinkish-red room. The echoes frightened you even more which caused more tears to fall from your eyes and more sounds to spurt from your mouth.
Heavy footsteps were heard coming closer to your door, and instead of your expected mother or father coming to get you, it was rather Toriel; whose name you knew from being told earlier.
The goat strode over towards your bed, eyes full of compassion and worry, "My child, what is the matter?" She asked softly, picking you up and cradling you in her arms.
Your sobs were reduced to sniffles, your fists closing around the fabric of her clothes. Your cries reduced even more as the goat monster started to hum softly to you.
The familiar tune stopped your crying immediately. You wanted to listen. The humming filled you with a sense of peace, and it seemed to fill you with (Soul Trait).
"It's alright, little one. You are safe now," Toriel cooed, pressing her nose to your forehead. "Now, child, do you wish to fall back asleep or get up for the day?"
( Which would you like to do? )
( Choose! )
{ Get up. } or { Go back to sleep. }
- { Get up. } ————————————————
Your eyes brightened and you started to giggle and bubble about. These actions seemed to make Toriel happy."Oh, so you choose to get up? Alright, child. Lets get you into better clothes." Your make-shift caretaker sat you upright on your bed and waltzed towards the closet, attempting to find something that fit.
It didn't seem like anything did, for all the clothes in there seemed to fit children around 10 or 13. Toriel's face fell for a couple of seconds before she slapped on a smile across her maw and came over to you again.
"Well, I guess you won't get new clothes then, but if you don't mind, I'd love to wash them for you at some point in time."
