"Wow, Red's really going at it." Lance commented as he watched the Red lion throw itself into the side of the Galra ship once again. The lion's nails dug deep into the surface, adding more to the collection of scars in the ship's exterior. He turned to the comm. "Hey, Pidge?"

"Yeah?"

"Could you please hurry it along? Keith's lion is having a conniption over here."

"We're working on it." Pidge huffed.

"We had a minor set back."

Lance cocked his head. "What sort of 'minor set back'?"

"We're taking care of--" Pidge's voice was cut off by a heavy thud.

"Pidge, can you hear me? What's going on over there?" He heard blasters on the other end and a shout from Keith followed by another heavy thud.

"PIDGE!"

"Everything's--" Another blast cut off her words. "Fine..."

"That's it. I'm coming." Lance switched the comm over. "Shiro, I'm going in."

"Lance! Stay put!" Shiro ordered.
"LANCE!"

Lance, ignoring Shiro's protests, dived down below the ship. He dodged a majority of the enemy fire that was aimed his way then hovered below to find an inconspicuous way to get in.

The Yellow lion dropped to hover nearby. "Lance, what do you think you're doing?" Hunk asked over the comm.

He flipped down the visor of his helmet. "They need backup." Lance's words echoed in the confines of his helmet. "Cover me, will ya?" He jumped from his seat and launched himself into space.

"Hey Pidge, is everything alright?"

"It could be better." A blast thundered from somewhere nearby.

"Where do they keep coming from?!" Keith demanded, his voice sounding distant over Pidge's comm.

"Hang in there. I'm coming. Send me your location."

"I would if I could. The Galra soldiers just keep coming."

"Never mind, then. I'll find you guys myself."

"LANCE!"

"Sorry about that Shiro." Lance answered from behind a pillar in the wall. He held his bayard close to his chest, peering over his shoulder at his surroundings.

"Never mind that now. Have you located Pidge and Keith yet?"

Lance checked to see that the coast was clear then stepped out to jog down the corridor and paused again at the next corner. "No luck so far. Pidge needs time to send the coordinates but they both have their hands full at the moment."

Shiro paused. "Find the Galra security feed. It should be near the control center. You know where that is, right?"

Lance continued onward. "I think so."

"Good. Maybe they're on the cameras. You'll be able to locate them from there."

"On it!" A blast shook the ground, almost knocking Lance off his feet. A deafening roar echoed throughout the corridors. Lance stopped short and sighed with relief. "On second thought, I think Red found them first."
