Agad na bumungad sakin ang isang napakaamong mukha nang magising ako.

I immediately smile.

Hindi mawala sa isip ko ang mga katagang yun na binitawan niya kagabi. Lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman ko ay nawala.

Akala ko pagkatapos kong magconfess sakanya ay katapusan na ng lahat lalo na at yun ang pinag usapan namin.

But he chose to let me stay with him.

Does this mean that he is also feeling the same way??

Pero hindi naman sakin sinabi ni Daryl na mahal niya din ako.

Im just glad that he wants me beside him.

Kahit yung lang okay na. Basta kasama ko siya.

"Morning.." agad niyang bati sakin at kinabig palapit sakin.

I also smiled and greet him.

He lowered his head and kiss me on the lips.

"This is one of the best morning i ever have." He blurted.

"Me too.."

Napatango ako sakanya at nakita kong nakatingin siya sakin.

"I love you Daryl." I said.

He just smiled and kiss my forehead.

"I know everything has been so fast, and im afraid its hard to catch up but i hope youll stick with me till i realize something." He said while carressing my hair.

After a few minutes of cuddling i decided to get up in bed and prepare us some breakfast. I check our stock in the fridge and i get the bacon and ham.. i also made some pancakes and cook some fried rice.

Habang busy sa pagluluto ay bigla may yumakap sa likuran ko.

I can smell the soap he used and the minty odor of his shaving cream.

"So this is how it feels to have a wife taking care of you, preparing you breakfast and picking up the clothes you will wear." He said.

Kasi naman ako yung nagprepare ng susuotin niya. And im glad na sinuot niya nga. We have the same taste when it come to fashion.

"Well, expect this to happen everyday from now on. I will be ymthe best wife the world can have!" Tawa ko.

"And im glad that you are mine. Im a very lucky bastard to have you." Then he kissed my cheek.

Humarap ako sakanya at ngumiti. I pinch his pointy nose lightly.

"Ikaw talaga! Napakabolero. Hala sige kumain ka na!" Sabay tulak ko sakanya sa dining area.

Napatawa lang din siya.

After preparing eating breakfast i also take a bath and prepare for work.

Nang lumabas ako ng buhay i saw Daryl leaning in his car waiting for me.

"I thought you already left." May sasakyan din naman kasi ako at minsan lang talaga ako sumasabay sakanya.

"Not without my gorgeous wife." Then he wink as he open the door for me.

Napatawa na lang ako.

We just talk lively while travelling to the company. Ito yung first time na nag uusap kami ng hindi seryoso ang topic. We just chat like an ordinary couple should be, trying to discover new things with each other.

Kasi naman hindi na kami masyadong nag usap noon tungkol sa personal stuffs namin.

When we arrived at the company Daryl gladly held my hand as we walk down the hallway.

Lahat ng empleyadong nakakasalubong namin ay binabati kami. Ofcourse we greet them back.

"Good morning Mr. And Mrs. Marx. It looks like youre day is starting great." Bati ni Mr. Cuevas. One of our board members.

"Just trying to be positive for the new outcomes of the business Sir." Daryl said.

"Well that's good because we are going to start talking about the new Flaux Empire in Global City. Actually Ms. Stuart is already here, she just went to the powder room."

At sandaling nawala ang ngiti ko.

So i will face Daryl's ex today. Pakiramdam ko tuloy masisira ang araw ko. But who knows, maybe she is not what im expecting.

Ilang sandali pa ay bumukas ang pinto ng conference and there she is, Bridget Antoinette Stuart smiling to us.

"Good morning." She greeted.

I just smiled while Daryl is having his dark serious face.

"Shall we start??" Agad na tanong ni Daryl.

Naupo naman kaming apat and started the meeting.

So Flaux Empire will be a Casino and Hotel Empire that will be constructed at the center of Global City. The company aims to a million dollar deal with our Italian investors that will take for about 5 years of contract.

This will be my biggest work yet. And i know it will be hard. Iba naman kasi ang forte ko but when it come to hotel management doon na ako expert.

I didnt finish my course as a cum laude for nothing.

"By the way Daryl, have you heard anything about Mr. Villanueva?" Mr. Cuevas blurted.

Napatingin naman ako kay Daryl. His face was blank.

"I heard he is in Spain right now. I jsut can believe it. After all he did to you dad, bakit kasama pa rin siya sa board members ng company."

Nagtaka ako sa sinabi ni Mr. Cuevas. May atraso si Tito kay dad?

"The business we are partnered with him is still working great Mr. Cuevas, sayang naman ang profit and besides Dad said that maybe this will be his last contract with us. Knowing that man he is wise when it comes to money."

Natahimik na lang ako.

"I just hope he'll leave soon." Mr. Cuevas.

"I know, before he stole again something very important to me and the company."

Parang sumikdo naman ang puso ko sa sinabi ni daryl. Is he pertaining to me??

Pero nag aalala din ako sa kinikilos ni tito. He is not making his move to kidnap me o baka naman pinapasundan niya pa rin ako at kukuha lang ng tamang timing para kunin ako.

Who knows what will happen.

"Uhm Mr. Cuevas i already prepared all the documents, i just need all you signatures and approval." Singit ni Bridget.

"Thank you Ms. Stuart. So ill better leave. See you later Daryl. Ms. Scarlet, ill go ahead."

Then its just the three of us.

Ang awkward lang. The Ex and the wife in one room.

"Uhm, i know this is all knew for all of us but im doing this for my father. I just hope you can stick with me." She humbly said.

"I-its okay.." i utter.

"Sweetheart let's go." Aya sakin ni Daryl sabay tumayo at hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"Daryl wait!" Napalingon naman kami kay bridget.

"Its the school's reunion this coming weekend, i hope you can come. For old times sake. I know you miss our friends back then."

Nanatiling nakatalikod lang sa Daryl. I can see in birdget's eyes the pursuation to please daryl.

"Lets go." He just said and we left.

Tahimik lang kami ni Daryl na naglalakad. I looked at him and his face is blank. I cant read any emotion he is having right now.

I sighed.

Bakit ganoon??

Is he still affected??
