Paige POV

When I told Quan what happened I knew he wanted to do something horrible to Nevante. We didn't even get to go on our date last night because I wasn't in the mood anymore. In my head I knew telling Quan wasn't a good idea I'm sure he was gonna tell Jayshaun and they would confront Nevante. I can't take anyone else getting hurt all because of me I hate this feeling. 

Today was the first day back to school from spring break. I love school a lot but today I just wasn't feeling it. I woke up at 5:40 this morning to get ready. I go in the bathroom and hop in the shower for about 30 minutes. When I got out I wrapped a towel around me and walked towards my room. I went to my closet and pulled out a Nautica collar shirt, with some ripped blue bleached skinny jeans and my Christmas KDs. I pull out my flat irons and wait for them to get hot. I then start to flat iron my hair then I put a black headband around my head. 

All along it was a fever 

A cold sweat hot-headed believer

I threw my hands in the air said "show me something"

My phone rang as I was unplugging my flat irons and wrapped them back up, it was Quan.

"Hey good morning babe, do you need me to take you to school?" he asked.

"Good morning, yeah if you don't mind." I replied.

"Alright baby I'll be there in 10 minutes." he said hanging up.

It was 6:30, I had to be at school by 7:10. So I decided to fix me a egg omelet, and sit down and watch some TV before Quan got here. I hope school goes good today. I really don't wanna be bothered so I should have a good day as long as no one gets under my skin. I couldn't shake this feeling I had though, I feel like something crazy had already happened... idk maybe I just need to relax my mind.

Jayshaun POV

I couldn't believe Imani put me out the hospital yesterday but its all good just as long as she don't have nothing going on with that nigga that was in her hospital room. She was released from the hospital today and I was gonna go over to her house to visit her and see how she was doing. 

I went to go hop in the shower and 20 minutes later I hopped out. I put on a Nike shirt and some grey sweats and my Bo Jacksons. I grab my keys and phone then left out the door. A couple minutes later I pull up at Imani's house, I get out then knock on the door... her mom answered.

"Hey Jay good to see you." she said while hugging me.

"Hey good to see you too."

"Well Imani's upstairs in her room, you can go see her if you want." she said while letting me in and closing the door.

"Thanks." I said as I walked to Imani's room I see Colen and Jaida in the den. I spoke to them then continue my way. I get to Imani's room and opened her door to see her laying there so peacefully. I decided to sit at her computer desk and use the computer until she woke up. About an hour later she wakes up with slob all over her mouth, I start laughing...

"Whatchu laughing at?" she said while getting her self up.

"The side of your mouth."

"Shut up!" she said irritated while wiping her mouth,"What you doing here anyways?"

"I came to see how my baby was doing." I said as I got up to kiss her forehead.

"Oh thanks." she said.

A few seconds later Colen walked in Imani's room. He called me to the side and we walked out of her room shutting the door. He starts talking...

"Aye look man you wouldn't believe what I found out." he said shaking his head.

"What?" I asked anxiously.

"I found out who shot Imani and Marcus man." he said with a angry ass look on his face.

"What tf man who?" I continue, "I thought it was Big Dog who did it."

"The way that man was acting I did too but naw it was Nevante." Colen said.

"What Paige ex jaint?"

"Yeah man I got a call from Quan this morning" Colen continued, "He said Nevante came and threaten Paige and told her it was him who did it and that he would have her and anybody else in body bags."

"He suppose to be my homeboy man fuck that I swear to god dog I'm catching the first flight back to Chicago and I'm murking his ass on sight, I'll turn my fucking self in." I said irritated as hell.

"Naw man we can't go like that, but we are gonna go to Chicago and settle it we just can't let nobody know what we up too yafeel?" he said.

"Aite man I gotchu."

When Colen told me it was Nevante who did all this I swear on god I just wanted to beat the shit out him. Why would he do some shit like this we suppose to be boys. Now I don't give a damn what we are his is is fire when I see him. He better enjoy these last few days he got cause they gon be the last he ever see.
