Seeing what I need...

Imani POV

I got a text from Jay telling me to meet him at Dicks Sporting Goods in the mall. I turn on the water in the shower then hop in. I was in there for about 45 minutes. I walked to my room wrapped in my towel to see my brother and his girlfriend sitting in the den kissing all on each other. I continue to walk towards my room, and walked up to my closet and pull out my all black t-shirt that had PYREX written in white letters on the back, some black ripped skinny jeans, with my He Got Game 13s. I decided to wear my hair wet a poofy I was to lazy to do anything to it.

As I was leaving out of the house, Colen hollered for me.

"Imani, where you going?" he asked.

"Out with Jay."

"But y'all ain't together though." he said in sarcasm.

"We ain't!" I said walking out the door.

As I walked to my car, I realized I had forgot my phone. I turned around walking back towards the house. I heard gunshots, and next thing you know I fell then blacked out.

Colen POV

"What was that?" Jaida asked.

"I don't know." as I got up to go see. I opened the front door and seen Imani laying in the grass unconscious. She had been shot. I picked her up and put her in the car as I told Jaida to get my car keys so I could take her to the hospital.

When we arrived at the hospital the doctors automatically ran over and got Imani and put her on the stretcher. I called my momma then Jay . A couple minutes later my momma walked in and Jay was right behind her.

"What happened to my baby?" my momma asked with tears in her eyes.

"She was shot, momma." I said.

"What!" Jay shouted as he punched the wall.

"Jayshaun, calm down." my momma said to him.

Jay looked really mad, like he wanted to kill somebody. He started crying and I pulled him to the side to talk.

"Jay she gone be aite man, if anything I know Imani gon pull through, she a solider." I said.

"Nah man, its all my fault." Jay said gripping his face.

"Jay it ain't nobody fault, Mani got this she gon be looking at us with that beautiful smile before you know it man." 

"Aite man, you right" Jay continued. "But did you see who shot her?"

"Nah man but I'm damn sure gonna find out." I said in anger.

"And I'm coming with you." Jay said.

Me and Jay walked over to my momma and Jaida and told them we would be back. Its a must we find out who shot Imani and ran like some lil bitches.

"Where y'all going?" Jaida asked.

"Handle some business." I said.

"Don't do nothing crazy" my momma continued, "I love y'all." 

"I love you too." we said in unison.

Who shot Imani?

Why did they shot her and leave?

Do you think Colen and Jay are gonna find out who did it?

Do you believe the shooter was really after Jay?
